★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Words can’t express how thankful we are to have access to a clinic like this. Our cat, Cannoli, wasn’t acting right Monday evening. By early Tuesday morning he was in the worst shape we’ve ever seen him. My husband brought him in to see the staff; and we were told the chances of him ever going home were 50/50. We were devastated, but hopeful; and wanted to do whatever we could to help our baby. The team clearly wanted this for us too.Within the four days Cannoli had been admitted to this hospital, he received the most incredible and life-saving care.Every vet/tech/assistant/receptionist here has been so unbelievably kind to us, and him. We scheduled visiting hours to see Cannoli every day. One of those days we had to wait a while past our appointment time (its an emergency clinic-we totally get it), someone from the front desk came to reassure us that cannoli was doing okay, and that we would see him as soon as the craziness calmed down. Every moment of silence or hesitation felt worrisome at that time, and we were so thankful for the reassurance and communication we received.Every day we were given updates via phone call AND texts. Texts from the techs always included photos of his progress, with details on his recovery. Texts always had comments about how much they are loving him, and how much they love seeing his personality come through.Today we get to bring home our handsome boy; and in the future we will be taking the drive for any other appointments we have. Thank you so much MLAH for saving our special boy.
July 04 · kat cavaliereI brought my dog to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital with very specific instructions:She had a collapsing trachea, so no collar—only a harness. She had known medication sensitivities, which I clearly communicated. This was her first time away from me, and I asked that if she cried, they call me immediately.I called multiple times to remind them—eleven times in one night—and even told the receptionist to please call me if she was crying. My dog died in their care.I didn’t know the circumstances until I persistently requested her medical records, which totaled 35 pages. What I found was devastating:She cried the entire time she was there. They administered medication I had explicitly told them not to give. They placed a cone around her neck, despite her collapsing trachea.Notes stated bloodwork was not done due to financial restraints, though I was never consulted. She was described as “screaming”, and they responded by isolating her and covering her crate with a towel.I was charged for medications that were never administered. This experience was a nightmare. My dog did not deserve to suffer like this. She was more than a pet—she was my baby.Everything in this review is factual and taken directly from Mount Laurel Animal Hospital’s own medical records. Go ahead and challenge me on this—it’s only the truth. If you are considering Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, or have used their services in the past, I urge you to request your full hospital records. You are entitled to them. Review them carefully to ensure you weren’t charged for services your pet never received. No one should have to go through what we did.
August 21 · jackie pizzoThis review is for Dr Krick, Katelynn, and the oncology team as well as Lindsey and the behavior specialist team. My boy Grams was just under 100 pounds, American Bully. He was suddenly diagnosed with B cell lymphoma in March of this year. My boy was not aggressive and had a truly one of a kind personality, but when nervous, as a big guy, he could get overstimulated and hyperactive. Lindsey and the behavior team came up with a great plan for that, which allowed my boy to be seen properly. This made it possible for Dr Krick, Katelynn, and the team to come up with the right chemo plan. My boy finished chemo on 7/29 and even took celebration photos, but unfortunately the cancer returned aggressively. Dr Krick and her team sprang into action to examine him and come up with a second chemo plan, but he sadly passed on 8/31. He fought as hard and as long as he could. It was a devastating loss that changed me forever, but I wanted to type my final thank yous to Dr Krick, Katelynn, and the team for being so kind, loving, and supportive to Grams throughout the process. I truly believed their compassion and care played a big part in his fight. The doctors were even reachable and communicative on weekends or their off days when I needed them. We all did everything we could for him, and it helps knowing that when grieving. After passing, we chose for him to be cremated there. They gave us some free paw and nose prints on site. Even after it was over, Dr Krick called and we spoke for over 30 minutes on the phone, which was meaningful. Even after that, I was showered with condolence cards from them, which made me smile. They also offer a way to honor your pet. For five dollars, a heart-shaped tag will be hung in their memory garden on site, which helped me honor him even more. As tragic as this situation is, they made it as easy as it could have possibly gotten for him. Grams loved them. For anybody going through this unfortunate situation, I recommend Dr Krick and her team for sure. Final thank yous to all.In memory of Grams, 12/08/2019 to 08/31/2025. It is pouring raining as I write this. My boy peacefully made it over the rainbow bridge.
September 07 · Cha FI wanted to share how grateful I am to the rehabilitation department at Mount Laurel. Every person that has helped with my senior pitbull, Charlie, has been so compassionate and caring. You can tell each team member cares deeply for their patients. Our dogs quality of life has greatly improved since we started physical therapy with their team, and I can't express how thankful I am. I also wanted to mention the client service team members at the front desk are always so kind and helpful at the time of check out. Highly recommend!
August 23 · Rachael McQuaidMy dog Riley had a fungus in her nose and it really wasn’t looking good. She lost all her energy, and just seemed constantly depressed. Victoria Byfield and Mount Laurel Animal Hospital changed her life. The care was phenomenal, they checked in on her constantly, it was so nice to have a team truly care. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5 I would. They were THAT great.
