August 05 · Ebony RiveraThis location really is the worst. I came back from Jersey to Long Island and I truly didn’t realize how bad it was. From the reception, to the nurses. I believe the doctors truly do care but it took almost 4 weeks for them to let me know the urine results for my dog. The nurse I had did not care about my dog at all. She was so dismissive of any questions I had about my plan and what’s included. There was just so much over the 2 visits I’ve had with them. I had to write a review.
July 18 · Alyssa LongchampI brought my pet Princess in as a drop off appointment today and I must say today's team worked really well together. I thought it would be a long wait for pick up considering how many pets I've seen getting checked in this morning. I believe Sam and Kierra were very attentive to my pet and were informative when reviewing the treatment plan. Special thanks to Dr. Gaber for accepting Princess as a last min appointment and advising me on treatment today
August 08 · Mel L.I would like to start off by saying some of the doctors a good and some truly care. However, some of their recommendations are not the greatest and I hope if you do please get a second opinion from other locations because their judgment might not always be the best. My dog has been going to this location since she was a puppy at 3 months old. Got all her vaccines and Neutered/spayed. After they implemented drop off only appointments it became very difficult to get appointments and an all day process to get your dog back. The grooming services is not the greatest either, they don’t do a thorough job and sometimes get hair partials in the dogs eyes after the grooming. The main reason for this review is because I took my dog to them twice in a month to 2 month span after noticing blood in her pee and possible stones that cause her to pee blood. For years we indicated the food she eats and all her medical records. I’ve even mentioned she passed a stone through her urine. They recommend doing a urine test for bacteria and found nothing. They then mentioned X-rays and surgery which is a bit extreme. One of the doctors had his own personal agenda because he has his own surgical office in Elmont and dismissed everything I said and was adamant on having to do surgery on my dog and the cost was between $5,000-$8,000. I decided to go to another location and I was able to get an appointment right way and was able to be present for the appointment which as fast and easy. They recommend right away to either do a urine test but since it was already done a different test to find out what kind of bacteria she might have and run a different test that was less expensive and a faster process as well as changing her diet to a medically approved food that will help with the condition she has and they get pets dogs and cats that often have the same issue to changing their diet to a medically prescribed one that helps long term. After a few days from getting the results back they found out my dog has E. coli which explains all the symptoms my dog has from peeing blood to diarrhea. As a result they prescribed medicine for my dog for 6 weeks and changing her diet. The fact that when I came back to the valley stream the second time for medicine because it was helping the doctor at valley stream location advised they he will not give me more medicine and denied that she needed it and would not approve it rather tell me she needs surgery and I’m just wasting time because I will continue to get the same results and I am the reason she will constantly be in this situation called it a cycle. I am disheartened at the hidden agenda and lack of understanding as well as professionalism this doctor showed. I will never go back to this location again and highly advise you not to take your pet for issues that are not basic visits. No matter the feedback that may follow from this response, as a pet owner the service, appointment booking, and even receptionist need lots of improvement. My dog suffers from very bad anxiety and even to do a drop off and leave my dog all freaking day locked up in a cage where she is trapped and drooling pools of drool because of her anxiety worries me all day. Just improve on all your services for future clients because all your old ones are out the door. It’s only because of location and convenience that you have business so please work on that for the locals to have a better experience. Not to mention having to wait over a year following up constantly just for dental cleaning that my dog needed but not being on a priority list, where other locations further out have the availability at a faster timeline.
June 08 · cutlturecop 1Do no waste your time and money in bringing your pets to this clinic. Go somewhere else. After I started brining my puppy here, he has ear infections and a skin condition and they keep scheduling weekly check ups and a different vet sees my dog each time and prescribes different medication and new shots each time. Such a waste of money. My dog was a healthy dog before coming to this place. Mind you thee reason I brought him was for the yearly vaccines and decided to enroll in their plans but I absolutely regret my decision. Such a waste of money
