May 11 · MdotI bring my 4 cats to Loving Paws and Dr. Loretta and her staff care for them as if they were their own. They saved my cat Lucky ten times over. My cat had a bladder blockage over the weekend when Loving Paws was closed so I had to bring him to an emergency room and he had to stay there for 3 days. I brought him home and he started blocking again and luckily Dr. Loretta was open and she told me to bring him in. She figured out he had an infection and that the emergency room uses the same laboratory she uses so she called the lab and found out he had a bad E.coli infection. A day later she found out from the lab that it was such a bad E.coli infection that there was only one antibiotic that would treat it and he needed it right away. Dr. Loretta and her staff called all around and VERG had the antibiotic and agreed to give them a bottle to hold them over until they receive it from a pharmacy so she asked her assistant Cashmere to drive there to get it for Lucky. Over the next few weeks Dr. Loretta and her staff would go in the middle of the night to make sure Lucky did not block again and to give him his antibiotic. They even brought their significant others so they could hold Lucky while they gave him his medicine. Lucky continued to block on and off and Dr. Loretta would unblock him. She consulted with a specialist who said either his urethra had a slit from the catheters in the emergency room (he had 3 catheters there) or it was a stone. Luckily it was a stone and Dr. Loretta was able to operate and take it out. Lucky recovered in Loving Paws for 2 months and Dr. Loretta did not charge me for hospitalization, just for treatment and medicine. The discount was $17,000.00. Dr. Loretta and her staff are a Godsend. They never gave up on Lucky. All of my cats are blessed that they go to Loving Paws Animal Hospital. Dr. Loretta and her staff were put on this earth to take care of animals.
August 05 · Kim FitzgeraldI went with belove sphinx cat for 5 years running desperately my cat was crying pain it took 10 min standing there to get help my help was an emergency that was the place I found close on Google I was desperate looking for someone to safe my cat the vet there a color tall lady came didn't even look at my cat just ask me what going on with it went yo the back and sent the receptionist to the front to tell me about prices not even to help my cat to stabilize the pain after all that time she just said we don't take walk in take your cat to the humane society in Manhattan. My cat died in the way when I got there the vet said she died in pain due to a blood clog that if this place woulded have stabilize her for the pain she would have made it alive to be safe . I don't recommend this place cause instead of really show love for animal and care is more about the money which money comes and go we only live once shame on. This place .
April 21 · Jackie AvilanI called to make an appt to clip my pups nails. I was asked not to bring my dog back because I didn’t want to take their advice such as neutering my pup. I think I should decide that. Also they said I complained about a flea tool ?! And I didn’t buy meds from them such as flea prevention or heartgard. I bought it from Chewy. 3 years I’m with them and spend lots of money for shots and all. I think the actual vet should be the one to come and do assessment instead of coming out after to squeeze some organs then walk out. This place is insane.
March 19 · Yolanda Santa MariaThe best vet around. So kind, warm, and caring. I was able to make an appointment within 2 days of calling. They provided me with tons of educational materials and information on 24-hour emergency options. Their explanation of my cat's treatment options was thorough, and transparent. There was no judgement when I asked what I thought might be ignorant questions. Very impressed and very grateful for the care they took with my pet.
