★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bond got us in for a walk in appointment right away when my dog had an anal gland abscess while traveling. The entire team was calm and kind. Dr. Kaufman was thorough, communicative, and provided such good care to my Scottish terrier. Even after a full butt exam and anal gland expression, my dog came out wagging her tail after the team took care of her. They also had everything for me to take home for my dog’s healing. I loved that Dr. Kaufman herself called the next day. Thank Bond Vet Cobble Hill for taking such good care of Wink while we were visiting NYC!
April 09 · sarah abelReally unclear how there are vet techs working here who have clearly never had the experiences of working with cats. My cat needed two vaccines and the techs were trying to wrap her in a towel. My cat doesn’t love the vet like most cats I can assume, however she’s been multiple times and had exams and vaccines without too much of an issue. She was resistant but the techs clearly weren’t confident and didn’t have the experience necessary to wrap her up tightly. They kept throwing the towel over her and then grabbing her too loosely. They told me I would need to come back since she was resistant. Super confused how you get through vet school without being able to confidently hold a cat. The visit fee is 130$ I would assume some level of training would come from a fee that high just to be seen. I took the towel and I held her while the vaccines were administered no problem because I was holding her tightly. Bond vet used to be great but my last 2-3 experiences have been truly awful. It’s stressful and expensive and the staff tries to talk you out of advocating for your pet. Do better.
August 07 · Eliza WeisbergMy chihuahua mix was neutered here and received the best care possible. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to take him. The total price for absolutely everything was about $1200. The 45 minute drive is so worth it.
July 30 · Guadalupe GalindoI brought my dog in with gastrointestinal issues. The vet was professional and thorough. Unfortunately, the results from the test she wanted performed were not communicated to me by phone as I had been assured they would be. I called the Cobble Hill office and was routed to a Bond Vet call center employee. I learned that neither my phone number nor e-mail had been recorded when I checked in. An automatic no reply email was sent with test results, but it was not sent to me.The check in process may need to be reviewed to ensure important medical information is not lost. Bond Vet is highly automated and even following up by phone involved a long wait, multiple offers to converse with a chat bot, etc.
June 17 · Geeta PasiHad the most patronizing experience with Dr.Bloomfield that seemed, if not out right, like he was shaming me for taking in stray cats with his presumed narrative that I haven't done any research on my end. Paid a large sum of money for the care of a pet and to be belittled and judged as incompetent by him. The whole conversation during the visit was what I haven't done or what I am doing wrong. Every response I gave seemingly prompted a backhanded response from him. Although, the information spewed out was informative, it should’ve been expressed in a better and more sympathetic manner to a client. I almost walked out crying if it wasn't for the wonderful vet techs and staff who were super kind, helpful, and friendly.Such a shame for the establishment because everyone else was so lovely and the care that they gave my cat was phenomenal. Sincerely hope this review goes to the proper channels so that other clients don’t have to experience this. Truly unacceptable.
