Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry Introduce
For New Yorkers, our pets are not just companions; they are beloved family members. When a pet faces a serious health issue, especially a complex one like a major dental or heart condition, finding the right specialist is a top priority. In the heart of Tribeca, a unique and highly specialized practice stands out for its commitment to excellence in veterinary dentistry and cardiology: Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry. This is not a general practice; it is a clinic focused on providing advanced, specialized care for oral health and cardiac concerns in cats and dogs. The team here understands that these specific health issues require a higher level of expertise and a meticulous approach, and they are dedicated to providing just that. Their focus on intricate procedures and the collaboration of multiple specialists ensures that your pet is receiving the best possible care, reducing risks and ensuring a smoother recovery.
The core of Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry is its team of dedicated specialists who operate with a level of professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail that is rare to find. As one grateful client mentioned, the team, including Dr. Jung, Theresa, Marco, and Denise, made a "big dental surgery" for her senior cat, Stinky, "so much less scary." This high level of emotional support and care for both the pet and the owner is a hallmark of their service. The clinic understands the anxiety that comes with a complex procedure, especially for a senior animal. A detailed review from a client with a senior dog highlights how the clinic's focus on transparency and communication eases this anxiety. They are a clinic with "real accountability," providing clear information and updates throughout the entire process, from the initial consultation to the post-operative recovery. The team’s commitment to making clients feel calm and confident is invaluable, and their communication system, which allows for texting updates and questions, is a testament to their modern and customer-focused approach.
Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry is a state-of-the-art facility equipped to handle a wide range of specialized procedures. Unlike many general veterinary clinics, they have on-site specialists, including a cardiologist and an anesthesiologist. This is a critical feature, especially for senior or high-risk pets, as it ensures that every aspect of the procedure, from cardiac health assessment to anesthesia administration, is handled by a trained expert. The clinic's specialized focus means they are not just good at what they do—they are the "best of the best," as one review states. Their commitment to strong reviews and accountability is a clear indicator of their dedication to high-quality care. The fact that a cardiologist was able to identify a critical issue like low blood pressure in a senior dog before surgery shows the thoroughness of their pre-operative process and the value of having multiple specialists on-site. This level of comprehensive, expert care is what truly sets Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry apart in the New York City veterinary landscape.
Located at 64 N Moore St, New York, NY 10013, USA, Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry is situated in a convenient and easily accessible part of the city. The clinic's location in Tribeca makes it a prime destination for pet owners from across Manhattan and beyond. The facility is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring a wheelchair accessible entrance to ensure that all clients can easily enter. A restroom is also available for client use, adding to the overall comfort of the visit. It is important to note that appointments are highly recommended, as the clinic specializes in complex procedures that require dedicated time and preparation. While the consultation fees are separate for each specialist, the transparency and value of catching a critical health issue, like a heart condition, can literally be a lifesaver. This initial, thorough assessment ensures that your pet is in the safest possible condition before any surgical procedure is scheduled.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m so thankful to Dr. Jung and the amazing team — Theresa, Marco and Denise — for taking such wonderful care of my cat Stinky. She’s 10 years old and had to go through a big dental surgery, but thanks to their professionalism, kindness and attention to every little detail, the whole experience felt so much less scary — for both of us.It’s been a month since the surgery, and Stinky is doing great. She’s eating like a champ, full of energy, and clearly enjoying her pain-free new life. Watching her recover so smoothly has been such a relief and joy. I always felt that she was in the best hands possible.Thank you all for being not just incredibly professional, but also truly caring. We’re so lucky to have found you. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch vet dental care!
June 05 · Carina CI’m writing this review exactly the way I wish others had when I was searching for the right place for my senior dog. He’s over 12 years old and had a tooth extraction when he was younger, but at this age I’m much more careful. The risks are higher and I needed a clinic with strong reviews and real accountability. This clinic stood out for both. Before booking, I called to confirm they had an anesthesiologist on site. That was important to me because many regular vets don’t have one, and I didn’t want anyone but a trained anesthesiologist handling my senior dog. This clinic also focuses specifically on dental extractions, which gave me extra confidence. The consultation has a fee, which they told me upfront, but what they didn’t make clear is that each specialist has a separate fee. I saw the surgeon, the cardiologist, and the anesthesiologist, and each one cost about 250 to 300 dollars. None of those fees go toward the surgery, and all of them are billed separately even though they’re in the same clinic. That added up to almost 1000 dollars just for consultations. The cardiologist ended up finding that my dog had low blood pressure, something I never knew. It was really important that we caught it early. Once we got his health cleared, we moved forward with scheduling. I also met the anesthesiologist, who explained her role, what would happen during surgery, and what to expect in case of emergencies. She made me feel calm and confident. The entire team was kind and welcoming. I introduced myself to everyone because I wanted to know who was caring for my dog. They also have a great texting system where you can ask questions and get updates without being charged. I sent over 100 texts and always got helpful replies. That kind of communication helped ease a lot of my anxiety. On the day of surgery I was really nervous. Even though he was low risk, I was still scared. They made him the first patient and updated me throughout the entire process. They told me what teeth were being removed, confirmed decisions with me during the procedure, and kept me in the loop the whole time. After surgery they offered recovery options. Your dog can be placed in a crate or a playpen depending on what they’re comfortable with. My dog did not want the crate, so they placed him in a playpen which was much better for him.The final cost of the procedure depends on how long the surgery takes, how many extractions are needed, and what type. I was given a range and paid a portion upfront. When my dog came out he was walking, using the bathroom, and doing well. He had some diarrhea afterward, but they followed up regularly to help us through recovery. Now he’s back to himself and healthier than before. No more gum disease, no more issues. I truly feel this extended his life. If you have the ability to bring your dog here, you’ll be in the best hands.Thank you to the surgeon, anesthesiologist, cardiologist, front desk, and every team member I met. Thank you for caring for my dog, calming my anxiety, and giving him the best care possible. These are not people who take shortcuts. These are specialists. These are the best of the best in New York.
June 30 · Daniel PerezDr. Jung and his team went above and beyond every step of the way as we navigated our bud's many dental issues. From the kindness of the front desk, to the support team keeping us updated throughout surgery, to Dr. Jung's patient explanation of the procedure, we were so grateful and relieved. The location is easily accessible and the space is beautiful but most importantly, the care that both the dog and his owners received was simply wonderful.
November 04 · Katherine TaylorI took my 12.5 year old Brussels Griffon to see Dr Jung at Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry yesterday and we had such a positive experience. First of all the space is stunning, not at all clinical and cold, it was beautiful, warm and inviting. The receptionist and vet tech were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we met Dr Jung he was beyond kind and communicative. He took so much time explaining all that was going on with Fallon's dental health. Including drawings, showing me how canine oral hygiene affects the nasal cavity, explaining the importance of extractions that had happened back in '18 at another clinic, etc. He was so great with her too, she was so happy there and she really took to him immediately and she wasn't scared at all which is unusual for her in new doctors offices. It was clear that Dr Jung is a big animal and dog person himself. He is so highly specialized and has a full time anesthesiologist which is so very important, especially if you have a dog with underlying conditions with things like trachea or heart issues. We are really lucky to finally have such a specialized private practice dental clinic for dogs here in NYC. Everyone needs to know about Dr Jung and his great clinic.
May 16 · Allison VengrinI don’t typically write reviews this long but we are so grateful for and impressed by everything about our experience with Dr. Jung and the rest of the team at Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry. So much so that I want to spread the word about this veterinary dental practice to as many fellow pet parents as I am able to!We discovered a concerning mass on the lower jaw of Lillie, our 6 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, a month ago. When we took her to our family vet to have it checked out, she recommended we have it biopsied by a veterinary dentist as soon as possible and sent me a couple of options, with Dr. Jung being one of them. I had initially planned to have two consultations, (with Dr. Jung and another practitioner, also a board certified Veterinary Dentist), and then make my decision from there. When I met Dr. Jung for our consultation, I immediately felt confident that Lillie would be receiving the highest level of skill and care. Dr. Jung couldn’t have been more patient in his explanation of our options and he was so kind and thorough in his physical examination of Lillie. It is very clear that he is an animal lover and his patients are his highest priority. Additionally, the office is very aesthetically pleasing. Modern yet comfortable and inviting. After our consultation, I trusted that Lillie would be in great hands with Dr. Jung performing her surgery so I decided to cancel the consultation with the other practice.Lillie’s surgery went extremely well and she has since healed up perfectly. She had to have a few teeth extracted, including one of her lower canines, but Dr. Jung sutured the excision in a way that you can’t even tell she had anything done so he’s quite a skilled cosmetic surgeon as well! The results from the biopsy came back as benign (as Dr. Jung suspected) and we couldn’t be more relieved and grateful for the care we received. It was great to see the team again at our follow up appointment. Needless to say, I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a veterinary dentist. Thank you again for the wonderful care you gave to our sweet girl.
