★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I want to start this off by saying ALL of my cats are patients here. I have 5 cats. All 5 of them are patients. Frank, who they recently put to sleep, Chooch who also was put to sleep in their office and my remaining babies; Aquarius, Piper, Darla, Ora & Opie.Today I called with an emergency situation for one of my cats (Ora) who hadn’t been eating or drinking in over 48 hours and they refused to see her because they were “too busy”. I used to love Dr Davis and she would always make time for anything my cats needed but after today I don’t know how to feel. This office even has an emergency line to call outside of business hours so I really don’t understand them not being able to make time for their PATIENT during an emergency. Luckily another nearby vet was able to see my cat and already has her feeling better. The vet I ended up using I wasn’t even a patient of and they were also booked but they still made time for my suffering cat. I am disappointed in the “care” or lack thereof they offer at Hamburg Animal Hospital. Hopefully if you are a patient here you never have an emergency situation because they will not help you .
September 03 · Siobhan MontanariLove it here, Dr Bonnie is an excellent vet, she's been very kind and knowledgeable with both our cat and our dog, they absolutely love her too. Both pets have had some mild health issues that were solved immediately from her suggestions! We will definitely be coming back for many more years!
April 08 · Joe ShopeFake employees not really that nice behind scene! Other employees are afraid and almost feel silenced by the appears so kind to clients but is an absolute horrible office manager who doesn’t train more than 2 days setting you up for failure and even the doctor just goes along with anything she says. No employee stays for very long and I can see why after being thrown to the wolves after two days of half day training because she was so busy. she wants to run the show solo and will be with only young part time girls who she feels won’t threaten her animal throne she got going on. Hey whatever floats your boat in this not so nice behind the scenes animal ark. I truly feel the doctor and her have a relationship, which is wonderful, but clearly the office mgr makes rules doctor just owns and treats! thank goodness animals are pretty much treated well and can’t talk!
February 06 · Christa HartmanI don't have enough nice things to say about Dr. Davis and the rest of the staff members at Hamburg Animal Hospital. My experience comes from the care given to my 18 year old cat, Dante, for the last 7-8 years. My cat was very scared of people and would hiss when at the vet, but was not typically aggressive with her claws/biting. Dr. Davis was always gentle and calm in her approach with my cat, and while cautious, never seemed apprehensive to touch or provide care to her. Dante had a few chronic conditions for which she took medication, and Dr. Davis was always thorough in explaining the disease process and treatment options. I felt that her recommendations were always in the best interest of Dante, even when it meant a less aggressive approach to treatment. Dr. Davis always gave me great advice, was patient with answering my questions, and gave me many recommendations for how to more easily give pills and assist with treating Dante's conditions. All of the staff members here are polite and courteous, and also eager to help and flexible with scheduling both for appointments and with picking up medication/food. I always felt welcome, even when I could tell they were very busy.Dante was with me her whole life, and my whole life as well--I was her primary caretaker from the time I was 17 years old, and throughout Dante's entire 18 years. She was very important to me and I was heartbroken by her passing. In the end, it was Dr. Davis's compassion after hours which pointed me in the right direction for how to best care for Dante in her final hours. As a result, Dante was able to pass peacefully in my arms. A few days later, I received a card in the mail expressing their condolences at her passing. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Davis and her staff for how they treated Dante over the years, and up until the end of her life.I could not recommend this practice more.
