Shinto's Pet Food Kitchen & Store Introduce
For discerning pet owners across California, finding a source for truly healthy, high-quality pet nutrition can be a challenge. In the heart of Larkspur, nestled within Marin County, is a small business that is revolutionizing the way people think about feeding their furry family members: Shinto's Pet Food Kitchen & Store. This establishment is not just a pet store; it's a mission-driven company founded on the principle that pets deserve to eat food with the same level of care and quality as humans. This overview is designed to help local residents understand the unique philosophy and comprehensive offerings that make Shinto's a truly special place.
The story of Shinto's begins with a personal journey. The founder, Lindsey McClerin, was inspired to create her own pet food after her beloved dog, Shinto, was diagnosed with a serious illness. She discovered that by cooking fresh, high-quality food, she could dramatically improve her dog's health. This life-changing experience became the foundation for Shinto's Pet Food. The business is built on a commitment to using fresh, locally sourced, and human-grade ingredients, with a focus on science-backed nutrition to support pets' health, vitality, and longevity. They stand against the use of harmful fillers and low-grade ingredients, advocating for a future with clearer labeling and stricter standards in the pet food industry. This profound dedication to ethical and transparent practices is what gives the business its heart.
The quality of the food and the passion of the staff are consistently highlighted in customer reviews. One customer, who ships the food all the way to North Carolina for their two schnoodles, Ziggy and Murphy, credits the food with solving Ziggy's "terrible digestive issues," noting there are "no smelly poops with Shintos food." The review mentions that the food is "worth every penny" and thanks Lindsey for her dedication. Another customer praised the "Super friendly service" and the "good food," noting that their dog, Indiana, loved his new snacks and bone. The reviews mention staff members like Elias, who make the experience personal and welcoming. These testimonials speak to the core of Shinto's business—it’s not just about selling a product, it's about providing a solution that leads to a healthier, happier life for pets, all delivered with genuine warmth and expertise.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We only feed our two schnoodles, Ziggy and Murphy, Sintos food. Ziggy was a rescue with terrible digestive issues. Shintos is the only food he can eat. Other dog food companies say they offer fresh all natural ingredients, but they aggravate his digestion and give him smelly poops.Definitely, no smelly poops with Shintos food. That’s the real sign all the ingredients are the best! It may be a little more expensive, but worth every penny. We have Shintos food shipped to our front door in North Carolina. Thank you Lindsey for everything you do to keep our babies healthy. 🙂
