★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Brought my kitten in because he stopped eating and pooping. Service is amazing, everyone was kinda and considerate but it is expensive here. Almost 300$ for an exam and feline virus 10 min test, the only reason it lost a star. I’m poor so it hurt a bit but seeing the 600$ x-ray charge made my heart drop to my stomach, they didn’t make me feel bad for declining the x-ray and understood, they kindly gave me other low cost hospitals in LA since my kitty had an obstruction. Caring place but only great if you can afford it. I called days later to ask for my kittens medical records so I wouldn’t have to pay again at another hospital and they were kind dispite the rush and early call.
May 19 · Artemis GoddessHad to bring in my doggy after he was hit by a car and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so kind and they took great care of my baby. Everyone took their time to explain the plan of care and the many options available depending on budget. I’m so happy I found this place so close to home. Thank you again for taking such good care of Oso!
July 19 · Elizabeth F.MObviously, you never want to be bringing your little furball to the ER in the middle of the night, but I'm glad that LAASER was the closest option on my vet's recommendation list. Literally every person there exuded empathy and compassion for every step that all of us in the waiting room were going through. We ended up spending several days there and, in the end, my little girl didn't make it, but that supportive and caring energy was there throughout. Even when I was making maybe not the best decisions due to cost concerns, they heard me and where I was coming from, understood that I would work better if they could engage me with the actual science going on, and gave me the full rundown to help me make the tough decisions I needed to. Yes, veterinary ER work is expensive and scary, but I don't think I could have had a better experience, given the horrible circumstances.
March 14 · Jason DeckerCame across this review (below) I posted 3 years ago. Apparently you can’t post more than 1! lol well… I just wanted to express my gratitude for LAASER. I truly don’t know if my baby boy would be here today if it wasn’t for the care and attention they provided. Staff remained calm while I was in a panic and was very welcoming to the idea of me coming to visit him on day 2 or 3 of his stay. I often think back to this traumatic experience and how grateful I am for their service. Could not recommend a better emergency vet. I have since moved out of state and am hoping that god forbid I ever need to visit the Vet ER again they are as good as LAASER. Thank you thank you thank you.UPDATE:My cat has been doing tremendously well. The information the vets gave with continued care plan for him have been helpful and to my knowledge are still working over a month later.Earlier post:The night shift staff are super friendly and easily answered my questions in a detailed/easy to understand manner. Since I came in around 3am with my cat - I was a little tired but they remained patient and helped me make sense of everything (with the 3 brain cells that were working 🤪)I felt comfortable, valued, and respected.Thank you for taking such great care of my best friend!
June 16 · Hannah Grace WebsterBrought my cat in for a scratch she had, they wanted to charge 3k I couldn’t afford and they told me to put my cat down because she’s in pain and going to die. I said give me the meds, wrap her up and give her to me. It’s been 7mos and my baby is still alive and healed. I do not recommend this place, the VET is not compassionate.
