The staff, including Dr. Kohan, are described as "very kind, gentle and knowledgeable," making what can be a very stressful experience much more comfortable. Another client appreciated the clinic's professionalism and customer service, noting that they received a follow-up call after their pet was spayed, which made them feel truly cared for. The clinic's commitment to being a welcoming and inclusive space for all is another major highlight, as evidenced by their designation as a transgender safe space and their gender-neutral facilities. The Village Vet Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We used to go there years ago, for acupuncture with Dr Zoe. It's been 7 years since we had a dog too. We took in our new shelter dog for an exam, and they even honored the Animal Shelter coupon for a first time check at a VCA Pet Hospital. Dr Kohan (sp) and our wonderful tech were so VERY kind, gentle and knowledgeable. Sadly our boy had other health conditions, unknown to us at the time, and had to be put to sleep weeks later. When I mentioned to them that he was gone, I was sent the loveliest card, signed by the whole staff! Their comments were f very sweet and SO GREATLY APPRECIATED. Also Village Vet is still very affordable... Thank you to everyone's there, especially our sweet tech! They even sent a guide for navigating the loss of a pet!
March 11 · R RedwingI was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. Both my furrbabies receive great care here!My babygirl just got spayed & they called for a follow up , much appreciated.
October 18 · Melissa ChaconTerrible experience at this vet clinic! They’re constantly overbooked and disorganized, making it nearly impossible to get timely care. The practice manager Favi is unresponsive and clearly doesn’t care. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values quality care!
May 12 · AI had heard so many great things about this office and was excited to finally establish care for my older dog after they weren’t accepting new patients for quite some time, but the level of incompetence I experienced after only one visit is making me not want to return. My dog’s bloodwork showed elevated kidney levels and minor anemia. The vet refused to treat my dog’s kidney issues without me taking him for an $850 ultrasound of his abdomen to rule out a GI/abdominal bleed. He had no symptoms of internal bleeding and after doing some research I discovered anemia is a common symptom of kidney disease in older dogs. I called 3 times to follow up with the vet to discuss alternative options, but he simply refused to call me back. I’m glad I trusted my own judgement and took my dog for a second opinion, because it turns out the test was in fact unnecessary and I finally got my dog on the prescription kidney food and supplements he needed from the start. Dog owners beware.
February 02 · Steph Bernstein RosenBest vet I’ve been to in LA. They actually care about your pets and don’t just rush through an exam to get you out the door. They even gave cat treats during the checkup to make my cats feel more comfortable — I’ve never seen my cat so happy at a vet’s office. Dr. Kohan is the best! They also don’t push unnecessary procedures like lab work just to make money unless it’s really necessary and are fairly priced. Thank you village vet 🙏
