Luke Air Force Base Veterinary Service Introduce
For military families stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, the health and well-being of their pets are just as important as their own. The Luke Air Force Base Veterinary Service is a vital resource designed to meet the unique needs of this community. This clinic is not a typical civilian practice; it is a dedicated veterinary service focused on supporting the pets of active-duty, reserve, and retired military members and their dependents. Its primary mission is to provide essential care that helps military families maintain the health of their companions, especially during the frequent moves and demanding schedules that are a part of military life.
The core of the clinic’s service is rooted in its understanding of the military lifestyle. They are an invaluable asset for families preparing for a Permanent Change of Station (PCS), whether it's to another state or an overseas location. The process of moving with pets can be complex and stressful, often requiring specific vaccinations, health certificates, and other documentation. The Luke AFB Veterinary Service specializes in navigating these requirements, providing the necessary services to ensure a smooth transition for both pet and owner. The staff is highly knowledgeable about pet travel regulations and can guide families through the process, as highlighted in several customer reviews. This expertise and support are a major reason why military families trust them with their pet's care during such a critical time.
Beyond the logistical support, the clinic’s mission is deeply personal. As one staff member explained in a news report, if a service member is worried about their dog, they won't be able to perform their job as well. This perspective highlights the understanding that a pet's health is directly tied to the well-being and readiness of the military member and their family. By offering high-quality, reliable, and affordable veterinary services, the clinic plays a crucial role in the overall support system for military families. It is a place where professional veterinary care is delivered with a deep sense of commitment and compassion for those who serve.
The Luke Air Force Base Veterinary Service is located at 13725 Lightning, Glendale, AZ 85307, USA. The facility is designed with modern accessibility standards in mind. It features a wheelchair-accessible car park, a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. While the facility is designed for quick and efficient visits, especially for routine services, appointments are the best way to ensure timely care. The clinic also has gender-neutral toilets, which contributes to a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My wife and I are ready to PCS soon. Luke Veterinarian services are 100% 5 stars. We are on a tight timeline they were able to get our cats in right away for their rabies shots and again for their travel health certificates. Very reasonable prices and fantastic staff was very helpful.
July 22 · Paul Munson West USAGreat experience! Very caring staff and super helpful with all of our pets needs for our upcoming OCONUS PCS move.
August 20 · Chris FlorekI've taken my pet here 3 times in the past 3 months, once for an actual checkup, then needed to return the following month for shots, and 2 months later for one last needed shot. It doesn't matter how many times you go, they are going to charge $45 for a Wellness Exam with comprises scanning the chip for temperature, and checking heart/lungs, legs, teeth. I think if you took your pet each week, they'll use the Wellness Exam excuse to get $45 easy money! Damn! I get a check up each year, why do they need to do a Wellness Exam each time. It doesn't change that much! I'm probably going to find a new Vet. This place is a bait and switch scam!
May 16 · Timothy F. HartleyThe staff at Luke AFB Veterinary Clinic treat my 3 boys great. Tyson, Romeo and Maximus love them.
October 23 · Eric HessVery nice employees, doctor & great prices!
