What truly sets a veterinary hospital apart are the features and the people who make it special. Redding Veterinary Hospital has several key highlights that resonate deeply with their clients. One of the most significant features is the unwavering trust and expertise of the staff. Clients, even those who have moved away, are willing to travel significant distances because of this trust. As one former Connecticut resident now in Rhode Island expressed, they are willing to make the almost three-hour car trip to see Dr. Bolton and his team, praising their "patience, expertise, and kindness." This speaks volumes about the quality of care and the personal connection the team builds with both the pets and their owners. Another highlight is their preparedness and efficiency, even in emergency situations. A client visiting from Baltimore was astounded by how ready the clinic was for their emergency arrival, having reviewed all of her dog's records in advance and offering new, effective solutions. This level of proactive, compassionate care, even for non-local pets, highlights their commitment to every animal that comes through their doors. Additionally, the availability of amenities like a clean restroom and the ease of drop-off service and appointments make the entire experience smoother and more pleasant for busy pet owners.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was visiting the area and my dog needed emergency care. I had my vet send all of the records they had in Baltimore to the Reading clinic. They were so ready for us when we arrived. After a complete exam and lots of conversations, the doctor gave me new medication, stopped two of the medication’s that she was taking because they could be aggravating her digestive track. And suggested a new food. The new food is the only thing she would eat for over two weeks. Now I have to go buy some, but I’m not sure if it will get here before I leave to go back home. All I can do is try. I wish this veterinary clinic was in my neck of the woods. I love my Vet, but I love this Vet more!.
March 29 · Judy MuskauskiI moved from Connecticut to Rhode Island and miss a few things, one being Dr. Bolton and his staff. I am doing the car trip of almost 3 hours because I trust Dr. Bolton. Patience, expertise and kindness that is why I do this trip.
August 23 · Nancy RothExcellent doctors. Excellent staff. My cat, and all of my pets that I have had in the past, have always received the very best of care. I havecomplete confidence and Redding Veterinary Hospital. My cat is healthy and happy (after having been subjected to less than desirable conditions, prior to my officially adopting her).I am most thankful.
January 26 · Amy ElizabethI recently brought my kitten here for a first time check up. The staff were all very helpful and professional, and followed up later to see how he was doing. I highly recommend Redding Veterinary Hospital to care for all your critters.
September 03 · Greg StackpoleFINALLY! A clinic that understands pets and pet parent needs. Last summer, we moved to Ridgefield and I've been to two other practices before this one dissatisfied with service/care/diagnostics/etc. I've been in the veterinary industry for 10yrs as a technician and vet sales rep. I know the good clinics from the bad ones. Dr. Phil Bolton spent an ENORMOUS amount of time with me and my dog Sumo this afternoon (over an hour!) to go over multiple medications and treatments. He was also nice enough to extend to me a technician/professional discount (which I so appreciated bc neither of us are in this industry for the money!) I cannot wait to take my other two dogs over to him in Dec and understand why everyone has raved about this clinic for so long!
