Beach Animal Rehabilitation Center - Rolling Hills Introduce
For pet owners in Rolling Hills, California, and the greater Los Angeles area, finding specialized care for a pet recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply slowing down with age can be a challenging but critical task. Beach Animal Rehabilitation Center (BARC) in Rolling Hills Estates provides a unique and vital service to the community, offering a dedicated space for animal rehabilitation and holistic therapies. Unlike a traditional veterinary clinic, BARC focuses on helping pets regain mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their overall quality of life through a comprehensive and integrated approach to physical therapy and alternative medicine.
At BARC, the philosophy is to treat the whole animal, not just the symptoms of their condition. The center's team combines the expertise of Western veterinary medicine with Eastern practices like acupuncture and Chinese medicine to create a truly holistic treatment plan. This approach is particularly beneficial for conditions such as hip dysplasia, arthritis, and post-surgical recovery, where a multifaceted strategy can lead to more significant and lasting improvements. The staff, including doctors and rehab assistants, are not only highly trained but also deeply compassionate, treating each pet with the same love and attention they would their own. As one satisfied client noted, the team is "so tuned into the animals."
The facility is specifically designed for animal rehabilitation, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and a serene environment that puts pets at ease. From the underwater treadmill for low-impact exercise to therapeutic laser technology for pain relief and healing, every service is chosen to support your pet's recovery journey. The team at BARC understands that this process is a partnership between the clinic, the pet, and the owner. They are committed to transparent communication, taking the time to explain every step of the treatment and answering all questions to ensure you feel confident and supported. This dedication to care is why many pet owners, just like the one with the golden retriever, have been trusting BARC for years.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Barc has been very helpful for my golden retriever. He has atrophy of his hind legs due to an old acl tear injury. He started with Barc 3 years ago and loves the PT!
July 30 · Lauren GlickThe work that BARC is doing for my dog has greatly improved his mobility and quality of life.
February 04 · Paul ImI brought my dog to the Rolling Hills office. She had been violently attacked by another dog. Her ear had been sewn back together by my family vet. She had no movement on the right side of her face due to a damaged facial nerve. Her ear, was pointed to 10 o’clock and had no movement, her eye did not blink or close, she drooled excessively, her jowl hung loosely and food would gather in her mouth and then fall out in the floor. Dr Scheff evaluated her and recommended acupuncture and a homeopathic treatment. I took Bella twice a week for a total of 11 appointments. Within three weeks we were noticing some movement. Each time we visited the office I was greeted by a very professional staff and two excellent veterinarians, either Dr Scheff or Dr Carroll. I am so happy to report that Bella has fully recovered. Her ear is erect and standing at 12 o’clock, her eye blinks and opens/closes, her jowl has tightened and she can eat normally. It’s actually somewhat miraculous how well she is doing in a very short period of time. I give BARC Rolling Hills 10 stars. Thanks to the great doctors and staff at this location. Also, the vet tech Tori was a huge help through the process. Thank yo BARC Rolling Hills!
March 08 · Tammi SquiresVery nice doggie rehab! Helped our little foster get on her way to independence!
