★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have been receiving outstanding veterinary care for our pets at Califon Animal Hospital for 15 years. Recently our beloved dog Ella reached her end of life. We are grateful for everyone at Califon Animal Hospital for the compassion and comfort they provided her and us during this difficult time. Thank you Dr. Sal, Dr. Martin, Vet Tech Renee and the entire CAH team. We appreciate you!
October 20 · Ann WendlocherRecently, my bunny needed emergency surgery for an enucleation. Dr. MaryBeth Hamorski was able to get us in right away, and Dr. Tempe Salatiello performed an amazing surgery on our sweet bunny. I’m so grateful to the entire team for their care and compassion. I’m truly happy to be a client of Califon Animal Hospital!
August 14 · Kaitlyn BamperOur pets have always received loving care from this practice. Most recently our two new puppies! Dr. Sal is caring and takes time to remind us about puppies stages and overall health of the dogs. Highly recommend CAH!
February 20 · Lysa FritzThis place is Extremely over priced. Every-time I have brought my pet there, my bill is between $2-300. I used to bring her to Glen Manor vet and my bill was less than half for the same treatment. Today, I was charged $100 just for the visit because I was told it was based on tiered pricing. This was not an emergency. I take her to the vet every few months, and I feel that I am being taken advantage of. I don’t feel the care there is any better than other places and have nerve charging these prices.
January 25 · Laura RosmanMy 4 month old Bernese Mountain Dog suddenly started vomiting repeatedly. I called Califon Animal Hospital and was told to bring her in immediately. Dr. MaryBeth determined that she had a blockage in her small intestine. Instead of operating immediately, since the puppy wasn’t in distress, she decided to see if the obstruction would move on its own. She gave her barium mixed with food. Nine hours later she expelled a 13 inch toy! I was so grateful that Drs. MaryBeth and Jeff both took the route of least resistance first and didn’t think surgery was the only option!!! I have been a client for over 20 years and trust their judgement completely.
