Fallek Marcie DVM Introduce
For many pet owners in Fairfield and across Connecticut, the health of their beloved animal companions is a journey that can sometimes feel challenging. While conventional veterinary medicine offers essential tools for acute care and emergencies, a growing number of people are seeking alternatives for chronic conditions, preventative wellness, and a more integrated approach to their pet’s health. This is particularly true for owners who prefer to explore natural, drug-free solutions to improve their pet's quality of life. Finding a veterinarian who specializes in these methods can make a significant difference.
Dr. Marcie Fallek DVM, located in Fairfield, CT, is a highly respected veterinarian who is known for her holistic approach to animal care. Unlike a traditional veterinary clinic that might rely solely on pharmaceutical treatments, Dr. Fallek’s practice is dedicated to providing a different path to wellness. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that the body has a natural ability to heal itself, and her role is to facilitate that process using natural, energetic, and non-toxic modalities. This approach is what many refer to as "whole-istic" medicine, where she takes into account the pet's physical, emotional, and behavioral state to find the most effective and gentle treatments.
The success of this methodology is clearly demonstrated by the powerful testimonials from her clients. As one customer shared about their senior rescue cat with feline leukemia, "When I took him home the shelter thought he had 'maybe a few months' left. That was 19 months ago and he is doing great." The review credits Dr. Fallek with using homeopathic remedies that changed with the cat’s needs, leading to a remarkable improvement in health and a significant extension of his life. This story highlights the practice's ability to achieve results that may seem impossible with conventional methods alone.
Another compelling example comes from the owner of a 15-year-old rescue pit bull with three bulging discs. After being told by a neurologist that surgery was the only option, the owner brought their dog to Dr. Fallek. The results were described as "simply jaw-dropping." Using a combination of acupuncture, cold laser, homeopathy, and supplements, the dog's condition improved dramatically after just the first session, allowing the owner to stop the prescribed steroids and painkillers. The dog's ability to walk again without falling and to lead a happy, active life is a testament to the effectiveness of Dr. Fallek’s unique skill set.
These stories are not just anecdotes; they represent a deep commitment to an alternative form of healing that prioritizes the pet’s well-being above all else. Dr. Fallek's expertise in veterinary acupuncture and other holistic modalities offers a valuable service to Connecticut residents who are looking for a complementary or alternative approach to their pet's health challenges. She provides a path forward for chronic conditions where traditional medicine may have limited or less desirable outcomes.
In addition to her specialized services, Dr. Fallek's practice also offers the convenience of house calls and phone consultations. This level of flexibility is especially beneficial for pets who are easily stressed by travel or a clinical environment, or for owners who require more accessible options. This focus on comfort and convenience for both the pet and the owner is a key part of her compassionate approach. The practice recognizes that the pet's environment and emotional state play a crucial role in their overall health, and a house visit can provide a more accurate and relaxed assessment.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Fallek has been instrumental in improving the health of my senior rescue cat with feline leukemia. When I took him home the shelter thought he had “maybe a few months” left. That was 19 months ago and he is doing great. We use homeopathic remedies that change along with his needs, as Dr. Fallek takes into account all that is going on physically, emotionally and behaviorally to find the right match. It is “whole”istic medicine and with Dr. Fallek’s expertise has healed or alleviated many of the issues that were present when I took him home. I will always be grateful to have found a vet I can trust and delivers results!
June 02 · Linda FiskeDr. Fallek is a highly skilled, knowlegable, empathetic holistic vet, I only wish I had known her years ago. I brought my 15-year old rescue pit bull, Barnaby, to see her after a well-known neurologist told me that surgery was the only option to treat his 3 bulging discs (one was severe). Barnaby kept falling backwards, unable to use his hind legs to keep his balance, and he was very uncomfortable. After the very first session with Dr. Fallek (using acupuncture, cold laser, homeopathy and other supplements), Barnaby showed improvement, and I was able to immediately drop the prescribed steroids and painkillers. It has been 5 months, and Barnaby is able to go on walks every day (his favorite activity after meals and naps), and his movement is slow but steady and upright, no falling back or listing, and he is very happy. It is thrilling to watch him sigh deeply and completely relax within the first seconds of receiving acupuncture. His drug-free, surgery-free improvement is simply jaw-dropping. Thank you so much, Dr. Fallek!
August 17 · Marcie JacobMy kitty was given days to live because his kidneys were practically gone. Thanks to Marcie, we had another 3-1/2 years with him in good health. He actually developed another problem before I first saw her, and she wasn’t sure she could help him. But she did! I am so grateful. She really is the best. I have sent so many people to her who have had great results. The person who posted about her fee - a friend upstate just dropped $10,000 on a dog she purchased on the Internet 8 years ago - puppy mill of course - And the dog had surgery, developed seizures and died. Marcie’s fees are reasonable - the remedies are so much cheaper than medications, and she has treated animals without surgery whose owners were told surgeries would cost thousands of dollars.Adopt don’t shop.
May 09 · Maria CiacciaI first starting working with Dr. Fallek over 15 years ago while she supported my aging kitty through severe dental problems. He had been through surgery to remove 17 teeth, and was facing the prospect of losing his remaining teeth. I was concerned about putting him through another risky surgery and consulted with Dr. Fallek on options. Over the next four years she was an incredible source of knowledge and a trusted resource --- she was thoughtful, compassionate and most importantly provided homeopathic remedies that tremendously improved my beloved kitty’s quality of life. I am convinced that she gave us extra years together than we would not have had with conventional veterinary practices.I started seeing Dr. Fallek again recently to help my current cat through recurring and worsening tremors that have severely eroded his mobility and were clearly very painful. Dr. Fallek again listened to my concerns, took a holistic view of my kittty’s health including both the immediate concerns as well as understanding any other underlying conditions, and recommended a remedy tailored to his specific problems. She was thoughtful in her approach and had his best interests at the forefront of all recommendations. Within days of providing the remedy, my kitty improved tremendously. The tremors significantly decreased, he clearly felt better, other concerns with his health that I had previously dismissed (eye gunk, itchy ears) improved, and he was back to being his goofy self!Admittedly Dr. Fallek’s approach is unconventional for those used to only seeing traditional veterinary practices who will push anti-biotics, pain killers and other western medicine solutions. However, in my 25 years of being a cat mom I can say with confidence that no one has ever taken as good care and showed as much compassion towards my cats as Dr. Fallek. To partner with Dr. Fallek requires commitment to your pets health, and while her services are more expensive than traditional vets, her expertise, attention and in my case incredible results in two very difficult situatoins are worth it to be able to share more years with my beloved kitties. I am extremely grateful to have found Dr. Fallek and recommend her without reservation to anyone who is dedicated to their pet’s entire mental and physical well being.
July 20 · Jessica BolinDr.Fallek has gone above and beyond taking care of my Weimaraner Smokey 15 years ago when he had a back injury. The conventional vet wanted to perform surgery. Dr. Fallek used acupuncture and wholistic remedies and within 10 sessions was cured. This year my other Weimaraner Treynor sustained a back injury and once again acupuncture is healing him. He barely could stand or walk and was in so much discomfort. But Dr.Fallek has helped him walk again. I trust her because she truly works at healing pets. Highly recommend her.
