★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My elderly dog had a medical emergency right before they closed, and it resulted in needing to put him down. I’d never been to this vet and yet they took me in during one of the most stressful and vulnerable days of my life. The vet was incredibly kind. Everyone was so patient and thorough. The vet and I even talked about the ways other clinics will overcharge for medication and how he tries to mitigate that. He was honest, direct, smart and kind. They stayed open 40 min after closing so I could have a moment with my pup. I’ll never forget the kindness, support and reassurance in my decision for the rest of my days.My only sadness is that I won’t be able to take him there for future care. I’d recommend them to anyone who is in need of care.
August 21 · Taylor WMy husband and I had to make the decision to see our baby across the rainbow bridge. A situation that really sucks. All the staff, from the reception to the vet tech to the doctor, showed us and our baby so much compassion and empathy. I will forever be grateful. It made an extremely hard choice to do just a little easier.
August 23 · David TealI had a fantastic experience with Dr. Ameis and his terrific staff at Paw Priority. My Husky is a big baby who needed surgery to remove a tumor on his paw. I could not have asked for better treatment. Dr. Ameis explained the whole procedure carefully and even showed me the before and after photos right after surgery. The hospital is new, clean and beautiful. I will be bringing both of my Huskies here for all of their medical needs going forward!
February 27 · Lisa BunnellMy husband and I took our cat Nemo to see Dr. Amies, and it was the best experience I've ever had at a vet clinic. The clinic is spotless, and the staff is great, from Danielle the receptionist to the Vet Tech to the X-Ray Tech. And Dr. Amies is flat out amazing. The Doctor suggested two tests for Nemo's recent behavior changes. The he said we didn't need to get them both done right away. Refreshingly honest! He doesn't upsell, or charge more than the initial estimate. He treats your pet like one of his own.I'm so happy we tried Paw Priority. Vet owned and operated, it is a true small business which puts your furry family members first.
April 28 · Nancy GailSo happy with the care my cat is receiving at Paw Priority. I had a bad experience with another vet and came in for a second opinion after seeing all of the great reviews. Dr. Ameis calmed my nerves and explained everything that went wrong at my prior vet. He spent over an hour answering all of my questions. He even let me watch while the techs took my cat’s X rays. He is very experienced and gave me his email if I have any other questions. I feel much more comfortable at a family practice like this one. The folks at the front desk were beyond kind and I’m super happy. Thank you!!
