★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Found this vet on a search to help my shihtzu Luna Since she wasn't feeling so great and me being on a tight budget, there prices were on my end of the price range. Even then the staff were super friendly and knew that I was super worried about her. The doctor was so helpful figuring out what was more important for her and what was in my budget. To say the least they were awesome and i will be keeping my Luna Star there as them being there primary vet. Thank you to the staff and the help in making feel better and taking the stress off my back. She is feeling much better.
July 23 · Shilmang BurgosMy pup is getting tested for heart worms and honestly I have not 1 bad thing to say about them. THEY ARE SUPER KIND AND WELCOMING. The vet can be a bit nerve wrecking for you and your pet but when I say my pup loves going to them haha his tail wags and he’s super happy to get seen by them; they treat him very well and you can tell they love what they do. The doctor treating my pup is also very knowledgeable and great (Nate). They are an amazing team and I give them 5/5 . Definitely recommend.

Dr Carol Prue was so sweet and patient with my cat and explained everything going on so well. Will be definitely my go to when needing any pet care. Thank you so much to the team who helped us out today and special thanks to Lauren who was extremely sweet and helpful
July 15 · Emely SantanaExtremely polite and professional in person and on the phone. They are also very accommodating if you have to move an appointment. I can tell they really care about our cats when providing care for them!
August 01 · Jess LI made the mistake of taking River Road Veterinary, up on a promo offer of a $79 exam of my pet. When we went in several techs were telling me about the hospital. I asked if they did free nail trim with the visit. One tech said no, but it was a small charge. My dog had his exam and the doctor ordered a Thyroid panel, telling me that it could be why he’s having skin problems! WHAT?? Thinking they know what they’re doing, I said ok.The doctor didn’t take the blood, the techs did! The first one tried to do it through his fur. How can you find the vein through a dog’s fur? She poked him nevertheless. It took 4 techs, each trying to get blood one at a time. I told them that they usually shave a spot of fur to do it. One tech blamed my dog for the fact that she couldn’t do it. She said”every time I poke him, he pulls his paw back!!” So 4 pokes later one tech knew what she was doing and got blood, from my unhappy dog. They even put a muzzle on him, he is the most laid back dog. 40lbs.My regular vet has never ordered a thyroid panel, and he’s been going there, since he was a puppy. 14 years Well that thyroid panel showed nothing in the end and was a total waste of money!($339.50) Never mind the torture my dog had to go through. I did get the nail trim, and it wasn’t a small charge, it was $24.90! That’s more than the groomer charges, and they also grind them so they’re not sharp! This all occurred on June 2,2025. I will warn anybody thinking about going here to save their money and go to a professional vet.Apparently River Road Veterinary has nothing to say about my experience, they reply to all other reviews, but not mine!
