★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Beth Hirsch is the best vet I have ever seen, ever, hands down, no comparison comes even close!!!! We were SO RELIEVED to have found Dr. Beth, I had searched far and wide for a good holistic vet that is ACTUALLY holistic by our standards. We were burned a month prior with our new puppy by a vet that claimed to be holistic. After reading the reviews here about Dr. Beth I got the impression she might actually be what we were hoping for, she was that and SO MUCH MORE!! She does I believe have patients who’s pet parents prefer a more mainstream approach to their pets care and I found that exceptionally helpful as well, to be able to go through pros and cons on different treatment options, and have real trust in Dr Beth’s experience and most of all, her sincerity in advising for the best interests of the animals. To say she was thorough would be an understatement, my husband came with me to take notes and be a second set of ears and Dr Beth had a vet tech in with us detailing EVERY element of our visit. This was such a help as we covered a ton of ground. Dr Beth was literally on the floor with my excitable GSD puppy the majority of the visit, touched and examined every inch of this puppies body, making observations I’d never heard a vet make before, her lymph nodes, nose coloration, tongue color, bite, her little puppy lady parts, so so much information. We left feeling like we knew exactly where our dog stood in terms of early health, temperament, and things to be aware of and look out for. I’m promising you, you have never seen a vet like this before, nor a medical dr for your own health! Our puppy had developed a lot of panting, and with some changes to the different kinds of proteins fruits and veggies we’ve made her panting is down. Our puppy needed “cooling” foods- talk about insight! Dr Beth was honest with us, listened to us about our priorities in our pets care and had WONDERFUL bedside manner. Who wants to pay for a condescending vet? Not us, and Dr Beth was sincere, informed, kind, and a pleasure to be with. Vet visits can be a real stressor, she 100% earned our trust, and we even had a couple laughs. This is the kind of vet that should be training students in veterinary schools. She did a chiropractic adjustment on our pup too. We drove an hour to get to her and we’d do double that, because she’s that good and it’s that worth it. She’s a special person with an evidently good heart, and she knows what she’s doing. Better than all the rest, I could not recommend her more. She’s stayed in touch since our visit with emails and I find her very accessible. We couldn’t be more appreciative! Truly 5 stars and then some. One thing to be aware of, is that the practices scheduling process and undergoing some adjustments. All of the in office staff are great and are aware of it, and I’m sure they’ll have that sorted out soon enough. From our perspective we’d send smoke signals to get to Dr Beth anyhow, so just be patient and know that it’s all worth it. Vet tech was a sweetie too, I believe her name was Faith! Good people all around! Thank you Dr Beth!!! Peace of mind on the rollercoaster of pet parenting! Finally! I could go on and on, but trust me she is everything she appears to be, all you could hope for, and more!!!
March 28 · Alexandra MarriottDr. Beth Hirsch is a one of a kind, probably once in a lifetime type of veterinarian. A beautiful, kind, compassionate human being. In her care, animals are safe, of that I am sure. If you want a thorough, diligent, intelligent and empathic vet, she is the epitome of those traits. When she has seen my animals, I experienced magic with how she connects with them and nothing makes me happier than knowing they are not only patients to her, but whole beings that deserve true care. Dr. Hirsch listens, analyzes and presents multiple avenues to diagnose as well as multiple means of treatment. She is honest and trustworthy. I will forever be thankful to her for educating me, caring for my girls, caring about my concerns and always going above and beyond. We love you Dr Hirsch, always :)
March 04 · Shernella GayaWe haven't been to Riverdale Integrative Vet Care for too long but Dr. Hirsch has been taking care of our 2 cats and 1 dog for over 2 years now and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for having Dr. Hirsch as our vet. She always answers ALL of our questions during and even after our visit. That's maybe why the wait time can be slightly longer. But the wait is totally worth it. She never made us feel rushed during our appointment. In case of emergencies, she would find ways to squeeze us in despite of her packed schedule. She explains every single item on a lab test with us through emails. There was even one time she walked us through our pup's lab result 2 days after she did a surgery! Dr. Hirsch also provides us with all possible treatment options for us to consider and help us weigh the pros and cons of each one. Our pup would never become so healthy and active without her care. Dr. Hirsch should definitely be your go-to vet!!
September 13 · XiaoqiDr. Hirsch and her team are fantastic. Dr. Hirsch has always been there for our dogs, explaining in detail the plan to help them and having the patience in treating them and not just giving them pills for a quick fix. When we lost our last dog Dr. Hirsch showed compassion and was there for us the whole time. I cannot say enough about Dr. Hirsch and that it why we drive an hour to see her
September 08 · Kurt CullenDr. Beth Hirsch is one of the best!!!! If i could give 10 stars I would!!! She really cares about the pets she treats and doesn't just prescribe over-priced drugs to make the pain; she gets to the root cause and eliminates the problem! My 2 dogs have been seeing Dr. Hirsch for almost 4 years and in that time I have ALWAYS had a great experience! She is professional, yet approachable and does NOT mind when you ask questions like other vets do. She explains options, takes the time to clearly identify issues, and offers treatments in order of priority...Her rates are no higher than traditional vets!If you are considering Dr. Hirsch as your vet, I would tell you NOT TO WAIT another second! Call and schedule your visit with her, and expect a thorough exam EACH and EVERY time you see her. Your initial visit will be an extensive one where she will spend most of her time on the floor with your pet(s). Our initial visit with both of our dogs was 3 hours; all of which SHE was in the room, hands on.The role of the vet tech is just that, a tech who records vitals at the beginning of the visit and is with Dr. Hirsch during the entire exam.I cannot say enough about how happy I am to have found Dr. Hirsch for our pets!Don W.
