June 30 · Melanie BourneWe brought a cat we rescued from the street to scan for a microchip. The receotionist Rayana, took him to the back and never gave him back, claiming that bc he has a chip, he has to stay. She promissed to get back to us as soon as they know anything so if the owner is not found or does not want him back, we can come get him. She gave me a form to sign and said that it only for my info so they can get in touch with me. Next day I called and was told that because I surrendered the cat, they would not give me any information. They were mean about it too. And I am a rescuer who was willing to foster him and never imagine to surrender him. Several rescues called VEG and several individuals, stating tgat they will foster or adopt hiim and that he was never meant to be surrendered. They kept telling us they can not give any information at all. Even when we asked if they already sent him to ACC and if yes, which one should we go to, they would not tell us. After 5 agonizing days, dozens of ppl calling and sending emails to the keadership team, finally when I called them again(they never called me), they agreed to give him back. There was no appology or remorse, they did not educate the staff about not keeping an animal when it is brought in just to be scanned for the microchip. They were trying to make it into a joke and our rescue community is outrages as this suppoed to be a place that has the animals' best interest in heart. But they clearly don't. They preffered to send this poor sweet, friendly, healthy cat to ACC rather than givong him to a rescue. Beware and choose another place to go to.
September 10 · Anya G.My second visit to VEG on Ralph Avenue . Very happy with the service. Not only a convenience, feels more like a luxury . Pets play a huge part of our Home and lives . So important to have great vets when needed. When my cats receive excellent care, it's like I received excellent care. Highly recommend for all pet Parents . If your pet needs that urgent care, don't hesitate . You will be happy you did . Today I received professional and expert care from Ryeanna and Sinclare Smith (DVM). They made me feel at home and all my pet care needs were met and beyond . Thank you.
July 06 · Abigail FloydVeg ER for Pets provides excellent service. I was able to be seen without an appointment, and the customer service was friendly and professional. The facility was very clean, and the whole visit took less than an hour. I’ll definitely return in the future.
September 01 · cassandra westWe had a very scary night when 7 month old Cosmo started suddenly showing weird neurological symptoms, and we had to come to a 24 hour place instead of our usual vet. We were here from midnight to 3AM.The team at VEG was very kind and supportive, putting a lot of care into helping both pup and humans feel calmer. They were knowledgable and efficient. They also took detailed notes which allowed us to have treatment covered and reimbursed by our insurance within a shorter timeframe. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly patient and sweet, despite the tardy hour and high stakes environment. Cosmo’s all better now! Thank you
