The team works diligently to ensure that all birds—both the babies for sale and the boarders—are well taken care of. This level of dedication creates a trusting environment, where customers feel confident that the animals are healthy and happy. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A PARADISE FOR PARROTSThis little slice of Heaven was found by mistake almost 4 years ago! Our bird adventure started out in 2021 when my now husband and I, on a whim, decided to check this place out. Let me just tell you we were blown away.We wound up purchasing our first bird just a couple months later and we were hooked for life! We were literally up there every day that we possibly could be to spend time with our new feathered friend! Not only were we bonding with the bird but we made amazing friendships with all of the staff. The owner constantly checked in on us, taught these 2 bird novices ALOT, and was always willing to help in any way she could to make the transition for not only us but the bird a seamless and easy one.Fast forward to now and our flock has grown quite a bit as we have introduced quite a few more to our original baby. All with the help and support of all the employees at The Parrot and Bird Emporium! The Parrot and Bird Emporium literally has everything you could need for your birds. They have toys, cages, carriers, perches, sleeping huts, food, treats, supplements, and much more! They even offer wing, nail, and beak trimming by appointment. They have a nice sitting area where you can bond with your newly adopted birds and interact with other birds. On top of all that they will even board your birds if you were to travel. We have utilized many of the services they have to offer and have even boarded our birds while we were out of the country. There is not another person on this planet that I would trust my birds with.Everyone at The Parrot and Bird Emporium works tirelessly to make sure that all these babies, and lets not forget the boarders, are well taken care of. Like any animal, they are going to make a mess. In the mornings, right when they open the store is immaculate, birds cages are all cleaned. By the end of the day, yes the store is messy, THEY ARE ANIMALS they will make a mess! This place is beyond expectations both in cleanliness and the exceptional care these people provide for these animals. The owner is an amazing individual with a heart of gold, and the staff that take care of the place are all extremely friendly, and dedicated to their work. What to expect: Friendly, energetic atmosphere with amazing people and animals. This is not a petting zoo, I REPEAT, this is not a petting zoo. Please keep in mind that while there are instances where you will be able to handle some of the birds that is not always the case. It's not because the staff don't want to let you handle them, it's purely out of safety. Animals are animals, we don't know how they are feeling that day or even what's going through their minds and just like us they can have bad/off days. Listen to the staff, respect the animals and the store, and your time there will be amazing.TO OUR LOVING FAMILY AT THE PARROT AND BIRD EMPORIUM! WE SEE YOUR EFFORT, YOUR HARD WORK, YOUR DEDICATION! THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US TOGETHER WITH OUR FLOCK!WE LOVE YOU
July 13 · Kyle WytasI’ve been a loyal customer of the Parrot and Bird Emporium now for a few years. My wife and I have purchased several (5) birds from here and are completely satisfied with the quality and service we’ve received. What people should know is when you purchase a feather baby from this small business, you are not just buying a pet to look at. You purchase a new family member. My wife and I have bought a bird from a breeder a few years back. We felt it was a great deal…. That wasn’t… as soon as we got it home and realized that it had not had the human interaction it needs. We had contacted The Parrot And Bird Emporium for help. Even though we didn’t purchase the bird there they still were extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the bird was very so stressed it had suffered a heart attack.Even though we went through that experience, we had spoken with the staff at the Parrot And Bird Emporium, getting their advice of what we could do to change that outcome in the future. They were so very helpful and even explained to us that unfortunately not all bird seller are the same. They were caring to my wife and I and helped us get through our greave process. We eventually purchased our first feather baby from them when the time was right. This place has a family type environment and really take pride in helping the customer understand the different types of birds, what is to be expected and the care each one takes. Every individual that is staff there are amazing and absolutely knowledgeable. One thing that’s especially is amazing is the “after the purchase”. They’re there for any questions or concerns that you might have. Plus all of the products that they carry and services for your birds needs (wing clippings and nails as well as so much more). We’ve already had to board my Feather babies there for when I went on vacation. I’ve never been Worry about the care they got there. The environment is clean. I’ve seen them washing cages every single time I’ve gone in there and with 100+ birds it takes a while to do that many cages. Whether it’s new babies or borders. It is always very well maintained and taken care of facility.I highly recommend going down to the Bird Emporium and taking a Look around. There are so many exotic birds. It’s just so awesome to see. Just be careful, since anybody that understands birds will know, that borders (someone’s babies) or birds in general can, and will probably bite. But there are signs everywhere that state not to touch them unless you ask an employee for assistance. It might be tempting to touch, but trust me some of the bird bites really hurt. I speak from experience of my own birds, biting me.So again, I would highly recommend this experience if you are looking for a bird or just want to see some amazing creatures. Go see them down at the Parrot And Bird Emporium. You won’t be disappointed
July 13 · Timothy ZThe Parrot & Bird Emporium is such an amazing place! We discovered the P&BE in December after the loss of our feathered friend. From the beginning we were welcomed into the store by Jocelyn who gave us a tour of the P&BE and who showed us all the different kinds of birds that were available in the store. We loved all the different birds in the store, but we fell in love with the quaker parrot. We put our names on the waiting list to get a call about available quakers and we started the waiting journey. We would stop at the store occasionally between December and May waiting to hear when baby quakers would arrive. On May 17th we got the call that there were baby quakers available. We got in the car and drove the hour and 15 minutes to go see the babies. We were handed 3 baby quakers and we fell in love with 1 of the 3 babies instantly. We purchased a turquoise opaline quaker and we called him Toby. We visited Toby throughout his baby stages and we would hold him and spend time with him. There were a few weeks where we weren't able to visit, but Jocelyn would send us photos to keep us updated on Toby's progress. On July 12th we picked up Toby to bring him home with us and we have been loving every minute with our sweet boy. We are thankful to have discovered the Parrot and Bird Emporium and highly recommend them!
August 01 · Natalie IonkinIn November, our baby Cockatiel and Quaker were ready to come home! During their time there, we were encouraged to visit as often as possible so they knew us. This is a place like no other I’ve ever been to! The staff become like family. They are so friendly, supportive and knowledgeable, I’d want to hang out there every day! There is a room where birds are out, there are plenty of chairs and it’s brightly lit. I loved to just sit in there! When our babies came home we had some bonding concerns with our Cockatiel and we were invited back for a meet-up with Janet and she shared many ideas and tips in what may help. At NO charge! I have been in many pet/bird retail stores, as most of us animal people have, but this is like nothing you’ve ever seen. The time and care they put into their beautiful birds is just top notch and the birds reflect that as pets. Stop by and see for yourself!
