The Winchester Veterinary Group, now in its new and expanded location at 364 Cambridge Rd in Woburn, has established itself as a leading choice for comprehensive animal care. This practice is more than just a place for check-ups; it's an animal hospital with a dedicated team of professionals who treat every pet and their human companion with warmth and respect. The group's commitment to building strong, trusting relationships is evident in the positive feedback from clients who feel like "family" and praise the staff for their caring demeanor.
The core of Winchester Veterinary Group's philosophy is to provide thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly service. For instance, one reviewer shared a story about a veterinarian who got down on the floor to make an elderly dog more comfortable during an exam, which resulted in the dog giving the doctor kisses—a testament to the rapport the staff builds with their animal patients. The recent move to a larger location has brought with it enhanced facilities and a broader range of services, including having a surgeon on staff. This expansion allows the group to provide a higher level of care, from routine wellness and preventative medicine to more complex surgical procedures. New clients are welcomed warmly, with some even receiving a "puppy starter pack," highlighting the practice's commitment to making a great first impression and setting new pet parents up for success. This dedication to excellence in both patient care and customer service makes Winchester Veterinary Group a trusted partner in the health and well-being of pets for the Massachusetts community.

What is worth choosing
Choosing a veterinarian is a deeply personal decision, and for residents of Massachusetts, the Winchester Veterinary Group offers a compelling combination of professional expertise and genuine compassion. What truly sets this practice apart is the consistent feedback from clients who highlight the caring and gentle nature of the entire team. Pet owners, like the one with the chihuahua who tolerated her first visit "extremely well," find that the staff's approach makes a significant difference in their pet's comfort and their own peace of mind. The doctors' willingness to connect on a personal level, whether by getting on the floor with a nervous dog or taking the time to thoroughly explain a diagnosis, demonstrates a level of care that goes beyond a standard medical practice.
The new, larger location is another strong reason to choose this group. It not only provides a more spacious and comfortable environment but also allows for an expansion of services, including the presence of a surgeon on staff. This means that from routine check-ups and vaccinations to more complex diagnostic procedures and surgeries, your pet can receive comprehensive care all in one trusted place. This integration of services provides convenience and continuity of care that is invaluable.
Moreover, the practice's attention to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all people is a testament to its modern and thoughtful approach. The provision of gender-neutral restrooms and its status as an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space shows a commitment to the well-being of the human clients as much as the animal patients. The ease of access, with on-site parking and full wheelchair accessibility, further adds to the positive experience. For these reasons—the skilled and compassionate staff, the modern facility, the comprehensive services, and the dedication to a welcoming environment—Winchester Veterinary Group is an outstanding choice for veterinary care in the Woburn and wider Massachusetts area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our chihuahua had her first appt with Dr Rising last week . Wonderful experience-caring, gentle care for our female of this breed we know and love. Dr Rising took the time to listen and address all of our concerns. Uncharacteristically, our little dog tolerated the visit extremely well . She must have realized she could relax with this caring team and so could we. Many thanks to the practice managers and front desk staff who welcomed us warmly and made our dog feel special. The vet tech was great with the challenging blood draw on our little friend. Would highly recommend this team. Awesome visit. We are so pleased to call this practice our vet.
September 13 · Lisa ManoloulesThis was our first time at Winchester Veterinary Group, and we were very pleased. Our dog is over 15 years old and has a number of health issues. Dr. Ding was friendly to us and our dog. He got down on the floor with her to make her more comfortable, and midway through the exam, our dog was giving Dr. Ding kisses on his face. He took his time examining her and explaining his findings and treatment suggestions clearly. We felt very confident in his expertise and knowledge. Moreover, he built a great rapport with our dog and us. The staff at the hospital was friendly and informative. As promised, Dr. Ding called us the day after the appointment with results and next steps to take. Everything was done in a timely and respectful way. We are excited about the future with this veterinary hospital.Love the new location! It's much larger and has a surgeon on staff. We brought our puppy Felix there today. The staff is still friendly and gave us a puppy starter pack.Since we've been going to the new location, we have been seeing Dr. Doyle. She's wonderful! Very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly towards us and Felix.
August 30 · KatherineI rescued my cat from a shelter that did not take good care of her. She was used as a test subject as a kitten and now, at a young age, suffers from multiple chronic illnesses. Every single doctor, tech, and staff member at Winchester Vet Group has been absolutely incredible to both me and my cat. They have supported us through every complication, question, and concern with compassion and professionalism. What truly sets them apart is how they always keep my cat’s best interest at heart while also being mindful of my financial situation. It’s clear they are true animal lovers who genuinely care about their patients and the people who love them. I am beyond grateful for everything they have done for us, and I will never take my cat to another vet.
August 12 · Gina VozzellaI deeply hope other senior pet parents read this review. My 14 year old dog came in for the first time this afternoon for a simple sterile urine sample. Upon his exam Dr. Doyle made note of him possibly having back pain. My senior boy is an old fragile dog. When they brought him back for a urine sample, they flipped him on his back to collect, which typically isn’t the gold standard. They lay dogs on their side. Dr. Doyle came back in the room and said that my dog “ Did not like being flipped on his back and freaked out and ran away”.After a conversation with Dr. Doyle, a couple hours later stating my dog was experiencing severe back pain to the point that he cannot get up on his own, Go upstairs on his own, And his mobility walking at the moment looks so painful. When I was speaking to Dr. Doyle, she said he flipped over rapidly once he was on his back, I asked them if he was being restrained during this time, and she said that he wasn’t meaning they weren’t making sure that he was safe and restrained in a good position where he wouldn’t hurt himself.Lacking basic knowledge on animal restraint especially with a fragile senior dog is incredibly disappointing. We will now be spending our weekend worried about our dog and likely bringing him to an emergency clinic to be seen.
August 02 · Sara NoonanThe nicest people they helped my dog far more than are dedicated vet had done in 2 years and clipped her nails for free letting us go inside to help calm her
