Woodstock Animal Hospital is conveniently located at 12 Speare Rd, Woodstock, NY 12498, USA. For the comfort and convenience of all visitors, the hospital has made significant efforts to be accessible. It features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Adams who I saw on my last two visits was excellent. But continuity of care was lacking as I and my cat saw four different people in five visits. I had my cat spayed and unfortunately it was not a happy experience. The incision got infected and took longer than it should have to heal. Then because of the complications I had to pay extra for medications. What should have been a standard procedure turned into an ordeal.Facilities for care and surgery seem somewhat antiquated and unhygienic. Until more than a week after the surgery, I was not advised to use, nor provided with, an anti-lick collar, which would have probably prevented the infection and complications. However, the front desk staff gets stars for being very friendly and helpful throughout.
August 10 · Mary GreenwoodThe vet did not discuss nor bring up adverse reactions to a toxic drug they wanted to give my dog. They give pills for med large dog for little dogs and expect your dog to swallow it. Give the appropriate pill capsule size or a suspension people!! It seems like they were trying to shake me down for unnecessary injections and procedures. They really need a big vet tech who can properly handle dogs. It is a joke. I have had five dogs and this place I would not recommend .
June 11 · Cathy BuckySo my (ex) wife and I brought our rescued dog there for all his checkups, shots, emergencies, etc, for close to 5yrs…since he was 3 months old. Well one day I called the Woodstock animal clinic to try and obtain some records for our dog that I needed for my divorce lawyer. I was refused any information regarding the dog that I CO-owned! I was actually the main name on his account for all this time and apparently all she had to do was make one call to them to get me off the account and that was that. Never once did I get a call from this veterinarian, asking for MY side of this! Nor was I ever presented with any paperwork to fill out to agree to have my name taken off of his account. She took the dog from his home, lied to a judge and told the court that I “beat the dog”, etc, all in an effort to get sole custody. Well she lost the case and now I have 50% custody as the court had ordered. I assume she told this vet the same lies about my false mistreatment of my beloved dog and easily swayed them to her side without them even contacting me or my attorney to try and back up her egregious allegations. What a horrible way to treat a long-term client. I was floored when I was told on the phone that they could no longer give me any information on my dog, nor could I get any of his past records for the numerous trips I took him there. This was completely unprofessional behavior from Dr. Hans and his employees. I’ll certainly never use their services again for any of my pets, and I tell everyone I know what they did to me!

July 13 · Bonnie VanVlietI recently became a new patient at the animal hospital in Woodstock, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. They did an excellent job trimming my dog's nails, despite his strong aversion to it. Their expertise and compassionate approach made the visit smooth and positive. Highly recommend!
