While some experiences have unfortunately fallen short of expectations, as highlighted by one distressing review, many other clients have had deeply positive interactions. One reviewer was particularly grateful for the hospital’s willingness to "go above and beyond to accommodate our litter of 12 puppies," praising the staff's professionalism and wonderful care. This dedication to helping clients, even in challenging situations, speaks to a core value of service. Another client's positive experience underscores the hospital’s ability to handle high volumes of patients while maintaining a standard of care that leaves a lasting positive impression. These varied experiences point to a business that is working to serve a diverse community with different needs, and while some may feel a lack of personal connection, others feel incredibly supported and accommodated.

- Pet Dentistry in Yonkers, NY
According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by three years of age. Without regular brushing and veterinary dental cleanings, bacteria, food particles, minerals from saliva, and other debris can accumulate as plaque and then harden on the tooth’s surface and at the gum line, forming tartar or calculus. Can you imagine what your teeth and gums would look like if you never brushed your teeth? If left untreated, this plaque and tartar buildup can lead to gingivitis (an inflammation of the gums). When gingivitis becomes severe, periodontal disease is the result, damaging the structures that support the teeth and ultimately leading to severe infection, tooth loss, and bone absorption. As well as being painful to your pet, bacteria can invade the bloodstream and damage other parts of the body, such as heart valves, liver, and kidneys.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I called several animal clinics/hospitals and none of them were able to accommodate my litter. Finally I called Yonkers Animal Hospital and the receptionist was so helpful with setting up my appointment. They were professional, wonderful and took great care of our puppies. They went above and beyond to accommodate our litter of 12 puppies. I highly recommend this hospital for your pets !
October 11 · S YuWhat a joke !!! If these people was so good why they not a five star was you guys paid to say this. Lisa you got a curtesy card how nice must be a white thing. Well I took my kitten Selena which was only a year old. First thing they was concerned about was money. She had a fever and she was sent home sick to die. So I took her back because she needed antibiotics which I fought for them to give her which was a week later. I also got blood work was told she was ok they gave her a shot of something two hours later she died in my arms. So Lisa it’s nice they catered to you all of you. But not only did I feel discriminated I felt no compassion. I also witnessed one of the workers kick one of the puppies in a room. Where was the owners ? I’m sure that puppy will have issues later. My point Is I had to go up there to tell them Selena died in my arms which was March 27 2024 they didn’t even know until today. Her concern was we run a business I don’t call all my patients back. Really so which ones get a call back???? I wouldn’t advise anyone to go here you might loose your pet. I sat with her dead for three hours before they came and got her.
May 08 · Melinda OrdonezThis place is wonderful. They are my new primary care vet since I’ve moved to the area and they provide excellent care for my dog with special needs and frequent vet visits. The vet is thorough and she explains all options with frequent updates as your pet is being treated. Everyone is personable and helpful, and super good with my difficult dog. Very happy to have found them!
April 15 · Lily HamillI don't know why their reviews aren't better. This is the first place where vets speak to me with humanity and empathy. I recently moved from Latin America so I am getting used to how things work here. However, it was hard for me to find vets that actually cared and that can hold space for the emotions that surround a vet visit. My dogs are service dogs and I have a very special bond with them. They spend almost 24/7 with me and they are my life line.I've asked to be with my dogs in appointments (we have separation anxiety from each other lol but mostly because being medical alert SDs they are trained to keep me safe and to watch over me) and they have been so understanding. when possible, they've let me be in the exam rooms. They also call back after vaccines to see how our dogs did the day after, they listen so carefully to everything you say...I can't be happier! Thank you to everyone in the team. From the receptionists to all vets, you make it very special!
August 09 · Lucia Miri EchavarriaUnfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience at this clinic. While the doctor and staff were polite on the surface, it felt like their main concern was making money rather than genuinely caring about the health of my cat. I left feeling like everything was about business—not compassion or care. The prices were extremely high, and I didn’t feel like we received the attention or support we truly needed.
