Age of Aquariums Introduce
For many in California, the world of aquariums is more than just a hobby; it's a passion that brings a piece of the ocean's tranquility or a vibrant freshwater ecosystem into their homes. In the city of Signal Hill, aquatic enthusiasts have a go-to destination that has been a long-standing authority in the field: Age of Aquariums. This small business is a dedicated fish and tropical fish store that provides not just livestock and supplies, but also an unparalleled level of expertise and service. In a market where big-box stores often fall short on specialized knowledge, Age of Aquariums stands out as a reliable and friendly resource for everyone from a beginner setting up their first tank to a seasoned expert maintaining a complex reef system. The team's expertise extends across both freshwater and saltwater ecosystems, including a variety of livestock, live plants, and corals. This dedication to sharing knowledge helps customers succeed and ensures the health and well-being of the animals they sell. This focus on building a community of enthusiasts, rather than just selling products, is a major reason for their long-standing success.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m about 4 hrs north of signal Hill . I ordered plants on their website and had them shipped to me . They arrived very well packaged and the plants were so healthy I was so happy ! I’ve been buying aquatic plants online from different sites and I must say I was very impressed. I am definitely going to come here and purchase more plants and whatever else I need
July 29 · George IrribarrenAge of Aquariums seems to always come up clutch with absolutely EVERYTHING. This store and staff know their stuff when it comes to fish and equipment. They are super friendly and take their time to educate if you don’t know. Other stores give you the cold shoulder and this store does the opposite and tries to embrace instead. HIGHLY recommend coming to this shop and giving them a chance. I got my Rosy Tetras from them and they are already popping with color more and more.
July 06 · Adam OrtegaOverall a really nice store. Staff answers questions to the best of their ability and make good suggestions. Not a lot of hard scape, but what they do have is very fairly priced. Very nice selection of both salt and freshwater fish. Not always fully stocked on plants, but the plants they do have are in good condition.
June 28 · Roman AWould not recommend this place at all bought seven fishes .five of them died the next day I took them the next day with the receipt they asked for a sample of water. I brought the sample of water they asked for and they tested it and said it’s was good . They didn’t refund me the money. They said that the fish die of Ammonia . How if my water sample I took was good they said . And my other two fishes are perfectly fine!
