August 25 · Katrina SchullerThis is the worst reptile shop I have ever been to. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with the smell of urine and feces, and the sight of the most horrendous conditions for these animals. 90% of the tanks did not have the lights on, had a poor excuse for substrate, or were too small to even house the size of reptile in it. The bearded dragon on the front counter was in a small 20 gallon tank with feces all over it and the dragon was frantically glass surfing from the stress it was under due to the smell of its own poop. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was shut down due to the lack of care and hygiene.
July 25 · Alexis VanFleetArizona Reptile Center always has top-tier feeder stock—healthy and reliable. The owner’s a genuinely nice guy and it’s great supporting a solid local business. Always worth stopping in to check out the reptiles too.
May 19 · Adam DavisWe normally go to Predators reptile store but wanted to venture out before we buy our first snake next week. We found this place and as soon as I walked I could hardly breathe with how horrible it smelt. The animals were in horrible condition. I would never trust purchasing a healthy animal from this store. I couldn't even walk around to view all the animals the smell was that bad. Me and my kids left and went straight to the Preditor store we normally go to.
August 29 · Leanna CohenI have been to many reptile stores and this is the filthiest one I've ever seen. Right when you walk in it reeks of urine. I'm assuming they must have mice or rats in the back. And if their rodent enclosures are anywhere as bad as the reptile enclosures, then that would explain the smell. There are dead dubia in bowls, rotten salads, multiple animals with stuck shed. Feces all over the enclosures, and I do mean ALL over, ample amounts!!! They look like they haven't been cleaned in months or even a year or two. It takes a lot of neglect to get the enclosures that dirty. They must not have been cleaned for a very long time. It would not surprise me at all if all of their animals are ridden with parasites because of how dirty the enclosures are and how lethargic some of their big monitors are.I was skeptical to even buy substrate. They have substrate bagged up, it looks like they bought actual substrate and then put it into their own bags and wrote the name on it. It would not surprise me in the least if it was infested with mites or other invasive parasites, some of it even looked moldy. I would never trust buying anything from this store at all.If every reptile store in the area closed down and this was the only one open, I still wouldn't buy a thing from there. How is this place open? Is anyone able to contact the humane society or PETA? If I knew how to report them I would. ITS THAT BAD!!!!
