What makes Predators Reptile Center a worthwhile choice for local users? The answer lies in its dedication to a specialized niche and the quality of its offerings. While one customer review noted a less-than-ideal interaction with a manager or owner regarding a specific request, it is important to note that the same review highly praised the "Great employee's." This suggests that the staff on the floor are a strong asset and a reliable source of information. The fact that the store is a small business means you're supporting a local enterprise that is personally invested in the success and health of the animals it sells. This is a significant distinction from larger, more impersonal chains. The positive feedback from a customer who traveled from California to purchase a tegu speaks volumes about the store's reputation and the quality of its animals. When you're looking for an animal that requires specialized care, going to a place where the staff lives and breathes the hobby is invaluable. They can provide nuanced advice on everything from diet to enclosure setup and behavior. The combination of a wide, healthy selection of reptiles, a comprehensive inventory of supplies, and a knowledgeable and passionate team makes Predators Reptile Center a prime destination. For new hobbyists in Arizona, it is a perfect starting point, and for veterans, it is a trusted resource for new additions and expert-level supplies. Choosing this local shop means choosing expertise, quality, and a commitment to the well-being of these fascinating creatures.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I got my Argentine black and white tegu at the Super Reptile Show in California, and I’m so glad I chose this shop. The animal is healthy, active, and has a great appetite and temperament. You can tell the sellers really care about their reptiles and know what they’re doing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get into the reptile hobby — a perfect place to start!
July 11 · Nikolai GerasimovThe employee's are very helpful but the manager/owner didn't want to help me sex my snakes i rescued so I rated them by the Great employee's
June 27 · Stephen FingerMaddy and the entire crew are GEMS! I gave Maddy a vision for a 375 aquarium and she ran with it! No reptile and fish barrier.. Just two passionate hobbiests "nerding out". An associate and herself even twined the four pieces together so that I could recreate her art in my aquarium. The install hit a snag because it was just a little too high. However, the love that Maddy put into aligning the pieces made it EASY to change directions without losing the match. THANK YOU PREDITORS! You make me want to come back and buy stuff!
April 11 · Jamie Local Guide“Reptiles are misunderstood, but they’re beautiful animals. Just give them a chance and you’ll see how incredible they really are.” – Steve IrwinPredator Reptile Center has been incredibly helpful and attentive every time I visit. Today, they assisted me with feeding my ball python after I struggled with the freeze-thaw method and wanted to try live prey. They were supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me grow as a reptile keeper. I really appreciate their insight and care—thank you for your help today!
June 29 · Keitaris gWe just got my daughter a pet corn snake from Predators Reptile Center. The staff were all so amazing and knowledgeable. They showed us all the different varieties, and got us everything we needed for our snake habitat. I would definitely recommend talking to these guys if you are in the market for a reptile!
