Wylder's Holistic Pet Center & Rescue Introduce
Navigating the world of pet care in the California region can be a complex task, with numerous options for pet supplies, food, and rescue services. For residents of Studio City, a business that combines retail and rescue can be a significant part of the community. Wylder's Holistic Pet Center & Rescue, located on Ventura Blvd, aims to serve as a hub for local pet owners, offering a selection of products and services. The business's dual identity as both a retail space and a rescue organization presents a unique model, aiming to provide a comprehensive approach to animal welfare.
The concept of a pet center that also operates as a rescue can be appealing to many, as it suggests a commitment to animal welfare beyond just sales. Wylder's is described as a place that has daily dog adoptions and sells high-quality, eco-friendly dog products. This combination is intended to create a space where customers can find the supplies they need while also having the opportunity to support animals in need. The store's focus on "holistic" pet care implies a dedication to natural and organic products, which is a growing trend among health-conscious pet owners in California. This focus on premium, humanely-raised food and eco-friendly items is designed to cater to a specific segment of the market that prioritizes their pet's health and the environment.
However, a comprehensive understanding of a business requires looking at all available public data, including customer feedback. The reviews provided offer a very different perspective on the operations of Wylder's. One review raises serious concerns about the treatment of dogs during a loud and chaotic event, accusing the business of leaving animals in a state of fear and distress. It suggests a significant disconnect between the company's stated purpose as a "sanctuary" and the reality of their actions, as described by the reviewer. The language used, such as "sensory isolation chamber" and "living beings inside that hell," points to a deep sense of betrayal and anger from someone who was clearly concerned for the animals' well-being. This review challenges the core identity of the business as a trustworthy rescue organization and alleges a disregard for the animals under their care.
Another review alleges fraudulent activity, describing a multi-stage scam involving a puppy, supplies, and delivery fees. The customer, who was out-of-state, claims to have paid a significant amount of money for a pet that was never delivered, with additional charges for a "refundable crate rental" and "insurance." The review alleges a complete loss of money and accuses individuals named "Melissa & Tommy" of orchestrating a scam. This feedback points to serious financial and ethical concerns that are critical for potential customers to be aware of. It is a cautionary tale, urging others to "do the math and protect yourself." This information, combined with the first review, paints a complex and concerning picture of the business's operations and integrity.
The reviews provided from public sources offer a stark contrast to the typical promotional descriptions of a pet shop. They highlight the importance of thorough research and due diligence when dealing with any business, especially one that handles animal welfare and adoptions. While the business profile itself points to a typical retail model, the customer experiences suggest that there may be significant issues related to animal care and business practices. For anyone considering doing business with Wylder's, these public accounts serve as a vital piece of the puzzle and should be carefully considered before proceeding with a purchase or adoption.

---What Is Worth Choosing
When considering Wylder's Holistic Pet Center & Rescue, it is essential for California residents to weigh all available information. The business presents itself as a holistic pet shop and rescue, which, on the surface, is an appealing and commendable model. The idea of supporting a rescue organization while purchasing your pet's supplies is a positive concept that aligns with the values of many animal lovers. Its focus on holistic and eco-friendly products also caters to a growing segment of the market, offering a specialized inventory that may not be available at every pet store. The accessibility features, such as the wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance, are also practical benefits for customers.
However, it is equally important to consider the concerns raised in public reviews. The allegations of poor animal care and fraudulent behavior are serious and should not be overlooked. The review detailing the alleged neglect of dogs during a chaotic event and the account of a financial scam are significant red flags that require careful consideration. These public accounts are part of the business's public record and are crucial for potential customers to be aware of.
Ultimately, deciding whether to patronize Wylder's Holistic Pet Center & Rescue is a personal choice that requires thorough research beyond the provided business profile. It is recommended to investigate the business's reputation, search for additional reviews from multiple sources, and potentially contact animal welfare organizations for more information before making a purchase, donation, or adoption decision. For those in the California community, making an informed choice is the best way to ensure the well-being of animals and protect oneself from potential scams.

Wylder's Holistic Pet Center & Rescue Reviews
📣 Wagmor, we saw you.July 4th. Late evening.Inside: dogs.Outside: glass, darkness, explosions, chaos. No staff. No light. No comfort.Dogs on dirty towels. Barking. Staring.Staring like they’ve already stopped believing. This isn’t a rescue. This isn’t a sanctuary. This is a sensory isolation chamber on the loudest night of the year. You didn’t make a mistake. You made a decision. You knew it would be loud. You knew it was night. You left living beings inside that hell — and went home. That means you accepted the risk they might break. And that means you shouldn’t be trusted with animals again. No sane person would leave a dog where“luxury” is just a word on the door, and inside, it’s silence, dirt, and fear.Your reputation ended on July 4th.
July 04 · Mark SpielbergWarm hearts beware! This is a total scam! Melissa starts with the dream pup for our family. We paid $700. Not bad considering it would be pet, supplies, and delivery fee as we are out of state. Long story short. Paid $600 refundable crate rental and $1400 insurance. No pet delivered and nothing refunded. Do the math and protect yourself!! I didn’t and paid the price. Melissa & Tommy should be ashamed at their fraudulent scams
February 27 · Kyle sayklayWagmor et al, Studio City, Valley Village is a front for a puppy mill style adoption agency. Check out Yelp and do research first hand on former company’s Lucky Dog, Wylder online and on Yelp-they had to distance from several former businesses due to legal issues regarding adoptions and unclean facilities.Be careful! I paid $850 and never got my puppy per my contract and no refund. Still waiting for owner Melissa Bacelar, owner, to call to do the right thing. Stayed kind, not sure most would under these unethical circumstances, and still open for her to get right with her conscience!
December 17 · Erika CloseMy husband and myself adopted our darling dog Oliver toy Poodle from Wagmor. Giving this little munchkin a loving home safe and filled with love was such a blessing for Oliver and for us. Oliver has a forever home with us and we will strive to give him his best life. Please people if you adopt a dog and provide it with the best you have to give your dog will give back more then you can give. Thank you Wagmor
December 28 · robin campbellWe found our baby boy Hank here and bought him just over 2 months ago. The service then and every visit since has been the best! I highly recommend visiting to find your special new family member or to buy up on their impressive healthy treats ...
