This small, family-owned business has made it its mission to redefine the reptile shopping experience, moving away from the dimly lit, grungy feel of a typical pet store and creating a bright, clean, and welcoming environment. From the moment you step inside, you will notice the difference. The emphasis at CnB Reptile is on "quality over quantity," a philosophy that is evident in the health and demeanor of every animal. This reflects the store's dedication to proper husbandry and socialization. The owners, a father-son team, are passionate about reptiles and have built their business on the foundation of providing only strictly captive-bred animals. This commitment ensures the health of the pets and supports ethical breeding practices within the industry. It also means you can be confident that the animal you are bringing home has been raised in a controlled environment and is accustomed to human interaction. The staff at CnB Reptile are not just knowledgeable; they are enthusiastic and genuinely care about their animals and customers. CnB Reptile is truly a one-of-a-kind establishment in the Arizona pet community, distinguished by several key features and highlights. Its most prominent feature is its commitment to being a "showroom" rather than a traditional, grungy pet shop. This dedication to cleanliness, brightness, and high-quality displays creates a vastly superior environment for both the animals and the customers. The fact that the store is strictly "captive-bred only" is a major highlight, setting a high standard for animal welfare and ensuring that every animal has a known history and a calm temperament. Customers consistently praise the animals for being healthy and curious, which is a direct result of this philosophy. The business is family-owned and operated, a feature that shines through in the personalized and warm service provided by the owners and staff. One customer described an owner taking the time to introduce them to a boa constrictor just before closing, a small gesture that created a lasting impression and a bond with the animal. This level of customer care is a significant differentiator. The store's mascot, a Doberman named Marshall, adds to the friendly and unique atmosphere, providing a sense of security and a touch of personality. The store’s curated selection, which a customer likens to a "Porsche lot," means you are seeing the "hardest to find little gems" in the pet trade, rather than an overwhelming number of common animals. The store’s frequent appearances at local expos also show their commitment to the herpetology community in Arizona. This combination of a pristine environment, ethical practices, unique animals, and exceptional customer service makes CnB Reptile a standout destination and a true gem for reptile enthusiasts in the region. The store's focus on quality and personal connection is a breath of fresh air in the pet trade.

When you're in the market for a reptile, choosing CnB Reptile is a decision that comes with a host of benefits. The primary reason to choose this store is the unparalleled quality of the animals. By exclusively selling captive-bred reptiles, they ensure that every animal is healthy, well-adjusted, and ready for its new home. This stands in stark contrast to other places that may sell wild-caught animals with unknown health histories and temperaments. The store's cleanliness and well-maintained displays are another key factor. You can shop with confidence, knowing that the animals are kept in a clean, stress-free environment, which contributes directly to their health. The owners' passion and expertise are also invaluable. As one customer noted, a simple gesture of showing a boa constrictor before closing led to a life-changing connection. This is the kind of service and care that you can expect from a family-owned business that truly cares about its craft. The curated selection of unique and high-quality animals means you'll be able to find a "little gem" that you may not see at a larger, less specialized store. The positive customer reviews, which describe the staff as "passionate and helpful" and the store as "a 10 out of 10," underscore the exceptional experience. CnB Reptile is more than just a place to buy a pet; it's a community hub for reptile lovers, a place where you can get expert advice, and a showroom for some of the best animals in the trade. For anyone in Arizona seeking a new reptile companion, CnB Reptile offers a level of quality and care that is truly worth choosing.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Less a pet store, more like a boutique showcasing the hardest to find little gems out in the pet trade, CnB lacks that dimly lighted-grungy-"can't quite identify that smell" feeling I tend to get walking into a reptile shop. Animals cowering in the deep recesses of their dank, depressing cells seemingly seeking salvation are here replaced with curious creatures that come to the front of their enclosures whenever they see company. This is not a store... this is a showroom. This is not a Honda dealership with balloons and wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube men... this is a Porsche lot, with a side of Aston Martin, and maybe a couple of Bentleys in back. The place is bright. The place is white. And the cleanliness combined with the quality-over-quantity approach makes one able to breathe in there, and not feel like you just stumbled into some teenager's basement. My attempt to not draw the attention of one of the owners was foiled one December evening when she greeted me warmly upon my first visit, and told me to hold out my hands flat like a platform.Despite my objections, not wanting to get to know some animal right when they're about to close, she puts this 5-month-old baby boa in my hands. The little creature wrapped its vibrant red tail around my wrist, and within 60 seconds the anxiety that had permeated that morning and afternoon had evaporated. I've had pets since 1988... none of them calmed me like that little girl snake. But who buys a boa at 40, right? Midlife crisis is supposed to involve a sports car and frosted tips. But the thing is, I really tried NOT to buy a boa constrictor, really I did. There had to be something smaller. Surely all snakes give you that relaxed and groovy feeling.Nope. I held a bunch. Liked them all. But not a one of them soothed me like that. Like *I was the stress ball or something. I can't think of any other animal capable of hugging. And so, at this Porsche dealership of a reptile shop, I indeed did buy a little something for no other reason than I wanted it -- or maybe it was a need. All because a shop owner took the time to introduce a snake to me 2 minutes before closing for the day. Wow.Family-owned and operated, strictly captive-bred only, AND frequently appearing at expos here locally, CnB is THE reptile showroom for me...and likely will be for you if you take 6 whole minutes and go see for yourself.Side note: there's a shop dog. A Doberman named Marshall. Because why wouldn't a family business have a family dog as both mascot and security guard? Genius.Forget 5 stars...this place is a 10 out of 10.
May 12 · VirionThis pet shop is maintained very well. The displays are neat and all the animals look healthy inside. The employees were very passionate and helpful with all questions I had. It’s a nice little shop with everything you’ll need for any critter.
June 29 · Trevor HyattAmazing place! As a snake owner already walking in and seeing how clean and well set up everything was made me feel trustworthy in them. Down from the smiles you get from walking through those doors to the comfort they bring when trying to find the animal you truly want. I’ve been to several reptile stores and none of them have made me feel comfortable like them. I lost my very first snake to mites from the rats I was getting from their place and I’ve been very sketchy about shops and never had a second doubt with CNB Reptiles! Love them and highly recommend!!
June 17 · Kiersten HerbelCNB Reptile Store is fantastic! Caleb was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the process. The animals are healthy, well cared for, and of excellent quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reptiles or expert advice.
