Pet Care Inc. Introduce
For pet owners in the East Los Angeles area, finding a convenient, locally-run source for essential pet supplies, as well as necessary care services, is a primary goal. **Pet Care Inc.**, located on E Cesar E Chavez Ave, is a long-standing small business that operates as both a pet shop and a pet supply store. Known for offering economical pricing and aiming for efficient, quick visits, this local establishment endeavors to serve the community's needs for pet essentials and basic care.
As a small business, Pet Care Inc. positions itself as an accessible neighborhood resource, focusing on providing essential products and services that cater to the everyday needs of pet parents. The business model emphasizes convenience and affordability, ensuring that pet owners can quickly acquire necessary supplies and access services without the potentially higher costs or lengthy waits associated with larger, chain stores.
It is important for prospective and current customers to note that while the business aims for professional and supportive service, experiences can vary significantly. Some public feedback highlights the store’s efforts to offer value and a friendly atmosphere, while other reviews raise serious concerns about animal welfare in the store's pet housing and the quality of its grooming services. Customers are encouraged to visit the store, observe the facilities firsthand, and discuss their pet's specific needs directly with the staff to form their own informed opinion.
Pet Care Inc. is strategically located in a high-traffic area of East Los Angeles, making it a convenient stop for local residents needing a quick visit for supplies or services.
- **Address:** 2500 E Cesar E Chavez Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90033, USA
In terms of accessibility, the business has taken steps to accommodate customers with mobility needs, which is a positive attribute for a small, local shop.
- Wheelchair-accessible entrance is provided for ease of access.
- A dedicated wheelchair-accessible car park is available for convenience.
The store is designed for quick visits, allowing customers to efficiently complete their errands. Furthermore, the store supports multiple convenient payment options, reflecting a modern approach to customer transactions:

As a combination pet shop and supply store, Pet Care Inc. offers a core set of products and services for common domestic pets.
**Pet Shop and Supply Inventory:**
- **Pet Supplies:** The inventory includes a variety of pet supplies, though the specific breadth and quality of food, toys, and accessories should be verified in-store.
- **Live Animals:** The store sells live animals, which may include small pets like mice and birds like roosters, according to public feedback. Customers interested in purchasing animals should personally inspect the housing conditions to ensure they meet their standards for animal welfare.
**Care and Grooming Services:**
- **Grooming:** The store offers pet grooming services, including bathing, trimming, and styling for dogs. Customers should communicate their expectations clearly and inquire about the safety protocols and equipment cleanliness prior to service.
- **Potential Veterinary-Adjacent Services (as suggested by general pet care models):** While not confirmed as licensed veterinary services, some local pet care venues offer basic health services. Customers should inquire directly about services such as vaccinations and deworming to understand what is offered and by whom.
**Note on Services:** Public reviews specifically advise caution regarding the grooming services, citing concerns about technique, post-service comfort, and hygiene, with some customers reporting issues like razor burns on their pets. Any customers considering grooming should vet the groomer's experience and request clear documentation of service procedures and post-grooming inspection protocols.
Pet Care Inc. stands out in the local East LA pet market through several distinguishing factors that appeal to specific consumer needs:
- **Small Business Status:** Operating as a local, independently owned establishment, the store offers an alternative to national chains, providing a neighborhood feel and the potential for a more personalized interaction, which is highly valued by many Californians.
- **Economical Pricing:** A consistent feature highlighted is the store’s focus on affordability, ensuring that quality pet care essentials are accessible without a high price tag. This makes it an important resource for budget-conscious pet owners in the community.
- **High Payment Convenience:** The acceptance of credit cards, debit cards, and modern NFC mobile payments ensures a quick, hassle-free checkout experience, catering to customers who prefer digital and fast transaction methods.
- **Focus on Quick Visits:** The store is structured to facilitate efficient service, making it an ideal stop for busy individuals who need to grab supplies or drop off a pet without significant delay.
- **Community Presence:** With over 15 years of reported experience in the industry, the business has maintained a longstanding presence in the East Los Angeles community, building a base of customers who appreciate its tenure and familiarity.

Due to the nature of some customer feedback, it is strongly advised to utilize the phone number to speak directly with the staff regarding service bookings or to confirm the availability of specific supplies before making a visit.
For residents of East Los Angeles, Pet Care Inc. is worth considering for its strong commitment to **economical pricing** and its model for **quick and accessible service**. As a genuine small business, it offers a local alternative to large-scale retailers, which often appeals to customers who wish to support independent merchants in their neighborhood. The convenient location on a major avenue, coupled with excellent accessibility features like wheelchair access and diverse payment options, ensures the logistics of a shopping trip are straightforward and accommodating.
However, potential customers must exercise due diligence, especially regarding the live animal aspect and grooming services, as public feedback has been strongly mixed. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This guy doesn't take enough care of the animals there, treats them at below basic care, and doesn't keep them properly housed. What's not sane is I saw about 15 baby mice (possibly more actually) living in a small tank with only 1 source of water.Shouldn't have so many animals if he's not gonna care for them properly. The floor of the bar cage he keeps his rooster in must take a toll on the roosters feet seeing how its consistently being forced to stand on those bars for long periods of time. Not to mention how he replies to this comment, but not the ones of others where they posted pictures of how he left their pets cut up with the "trimming" he did, takes no accountability for the discern he has. Has a bad attitude as well. I understand business is business but this guy is only in it for the money and nothing else. That's why he was willing to sell me the ONE very very dirty wooden house those mice had. The only wooden house for that matter. (Btw of course I didn't buy it, I'm not evil. Those mice deserve that wooden house, but they definitely don't deserve that dirty one where they could eventually get diseases or sick from) I'm surprised he has not been flagged for animal cruelty yet honestly.Visit the store and observe how crowded and small of a space the pets there have, how their spaces aren't as clean as they should be. I felt sad for them.
March 18 · chigg nuggsDo not get your dog groomed here. When I walked in to drop off my 9lbs Maltese I was not asked to fill out any paper work nor was I asked to leave my number for him to call me. It was getting late and couldn't find any other near by grooming spots so I made the mistake of leaving my baby here. The guy just said to return in 2 hours. When I returned she was still in the tub soaked wet while he was attending a customer ! Like why ? Why not tell the customer to hold on for a sec to at least take her out the tub and throw a towel on her. I said okay I'll be back . . When I came back she smelt like she was dipped in old women perfume. Like a granny ready to head out to the casino. Whith a blue bandana, shes a girl ! Put pink or nothing at all. Her haircut even made her look like a boy. Not really the haircut I was expecting. I know i know sounds like these things are not much to complain about but what really caught my attention is the cries my baby was letting out like she was saying thank you for coming to the rescue. I've never heard her cry like that after A groomimg visit. I knew something was off. Once i get home I noticed she had a couple razor burns. And her paw pads were not trimmed ! The next couple days more razor burns start to appear. Under her armpits, on her inner thighs, in her ear, on her butt (so painful that it made her walk crooked for a couple days ) and on her chest. This really broke my heart. Explains why she was crying so much. Never again will I take her here. Maybe he was in a rush I dont know but if your in a rush cause you're gonna close just tell me to come back another day. I would say keep it a pet shop . not for grooming .
