★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had a problem with the self wash yesterday at your Clinton store and came in today to try it again. Basically yesterday the shampoo was out and my dog ended up smelling worse after the “wash” than before. I don’t know the guys name that helped me today but he was an older man, I’d say about my age, 50-60 with a beard. Let me just say he treated me very very well and I left a satisfied and happy customer. Thank you.
September 09 · District1 OneThe entire store smelled horrible. They don’t take care of the animals. The lizards where living in there own poop and pee. The employees didn’t help us at all and we were there for a good amount of time. Will not be going here again.
February 17 · Sami GreenWhile the store is generally clean, and staff is always helpful and friendly. I do have to say, I’m extremely disappointed with this store as of recently. I buy frozen rats for my snakes from there in between my bulk orders. When I went in yesterday, I was shocked at how bad the conditions for their reptiles have gotten.Where do I start? Firstly, Co-habbing most reptiles is a bad idea. That’s how they get injured/eaten by their tank mates. Second… anybody who had done a sliver of research on reptiles in the last 20 years know you DO NOT keep ball pythons on aspen. They require humidity range of 55%-65% minimum. Bumping it up to around 70% while in shed. You can see the humidity is showing close to 0% on their crappy dial gauges. They have multiple ball pythons with stuck shed and multiple dried up poops in their enclosure. We are talking an animal that poops once a week-ish. And they are dried. Do you know how long they have to sit like that to dry up? Multiple days. They need some serious help. They have their hognose and MBK on coco core… the stuff the ball pythons should be on. Hognoses and MBK’s can be on aspen just fine. But they have them on the stuff the ball pythons should be on. Which is totally okay. But if you are going to put an animal on something that is technically overkill, why don’t you have the ones who actually need that extra humidity in their enclosure?Leopard geckos on calci-San, which isn’t great. But the amount of poop in that enclosure is insane. Half the walking space is turds. Plus it’s all over the “hide.”Crested geckos are in the same boat. Tons of poop everywhere. SAME WITH THE TORTOISE. How do they seriously walk by seeing all that poop and do nothing?Reptiles can get sick from those conditions very easily, and like cats don’t tend to show symptoms very well until it’s too late. They used to be really good about their enclosure maintenance and setup. But not any more. They look like they gave up. Not to mention, I said something to them a few weeks ago, and it’s only gotten worse.I will give them this. They all at least have clean water. But uh… seriously? Can’t clean the poops when you water? This store is NOT that busy to where they can’t clean poops. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Do better.
December 20 · Joseph EvansWent in last night to get some fish while the staff was very nice it took about half an hour or so to catch the one I was after while moving rocks around but sure if one landed on it or the stress of being chased but the fish didn’t make it though the night while the other one I got from there did and all my other fish are still alive as well called to see if there was anything they could do to help me out and I pretty much got told sounds like a me problem even though they stressed the fish a lot and insisted that it would be ok once I got it home and it had time to calm down very unhappy and will no longer buy fish from here but will go to other stores farther away in hopes of quality of help after buy marine life from them
March 09 · Owen SimmonsI was super impressed. I usually shop at the harrisville location and like that one, but the set up of this store is really nice. The selection of fish was fantastic, plants available was really the best I've seen in all the fish store in the SLC area. The layout of the aisles is really nice too, it genuinely just made want to shop more.It did take a little while for someone to come help me, but it was saturday afternoon, so I'm not angry about that. I believe the guy that helped me was named Steve, he was really knowledgeable and helpful, took care of the fish properly and was a quick catcher. AND he helped me check out and went above and beyond to help me.I was seriously impressed
