★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our dog got radiation to her lungs due to lung cancer. We thought she might pass away in May, so this was such an important therapy for her to get. Thankful for Kevin, the vet techs behind the scenes, coordinating office staff, and Dr. Jacovino at Advanced Veterinary Specialty Center for taking good care of Allie for us and saving her 💖. They took a graduation photo for us during a busy day 🤗🐶. Everyone here is very thoughtful and kind, including the sweet cats in the office!
June 17 · Therese DaneAwesome place! I took my dog who was having trouble walking (hind leg) after taking him to another horrible place only to be told that my dog’s lameness was a result of him being fat. After a full ortho workup at Angel with no concrete results, my wonderful vet called and got me into Advanced Specialty in Walpole to see a very kind neurologist who fit us into there schedule the next day. Mind you, this wasn’t a cheap date, but they were compassionate and they LISTENED to me. After reviewing all his records, appropriate recommendations were provided and they were able to get it all the testing completed within one day. My answer was provided a few days later with a clear treatment plan and a plan for them to follow us through his course of medicines and track his progress. Other recommendations will be made along with potential options if the meds don’t work. Yes I spent a lot of money, but otherwise I’d have no way of treating my relatively young (8 year old) and overall very healthy dog. I am thankful for their compassion and thorough attention to his needs. Finn is getting the care he deserves and needed here without being dismissed. Thank you for taking care off Finn! ❤️
March 06 · Elizabeth GaineyWe brought our cat, Ginger, to AVS in Walpole after discovering a fast-growing tumor. We were scared, overwhelmed, and looking for help. What we were given was a treatment plan that came with a price tag well into the five figures, and an overall experience that felt more clinical than compassionate. (Our consultation cost close to $400!!)If you’re reading this and feeling the same sense of panic...please know: these prices are not the norm. They are astronomical. And more importantly, you do have other options. After doing more research, we found Coventry Animal Hospital, a place where we were met with warmth, transparency, and true care for both our cat and our family. The difference was night and day.I’m not writing this out of anger, but from a place of care: don’t give up on your pet based on what happens here. Keep searching. There are wonderful vets who care just as much (if not more) about the animals as they do about the bottom line. We’re so grateful we did.
July 11 · Danyca PenickMy dog Joey was initially referred here for leukemia, and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Segaloff. He's kind and compassionate and is willing to discuss options with you for your pet. Joey also started having seizures and now sees Dr. Anwer, and she's been wonderful as well! I'm very thankful for this team.Update: My Joey has been worked up for increased thirst and urination, which turns out to be a new tumor. I met with Dr. Segaloff as well as the radiation oncologist Dr. Jacovino. They sat with me for an hour and explained in detail the course of action that we'll take and answered all of my questions. I'm glad that Joey is in such good and caring hands.
June 25 · Maya Betz-OteroFrom the moment I walked in with my pup we were warmly greeted by the two people working at the front. The place was clean and you can see they were doing new upgrades as well. There was minimal wait time. Dr Kube and Riley were both so kind. Dr Kube listened attentively, provided a plan that was knowledgeable and appropriate for our dog who was having seizures. We were able to get in the next day for an MRI and Reilly followed up with results as promised. Benji was well taken care of and we highly recommend this clinic to others! Expertise of doctor Kube and vet technician, Reilly. Kindness.
