★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you are reading this, I’m so sorry - but I’m also happy to tell you that you are 10000% in the right place. Our dog, Pomona, was diagnosed with stage V lymphoma at 5 years old. We knew the outlook wasn’t positive, however my husband and I told ourselves that as long as she was happy, we’d try what we could. Our girl (who was petrified at her regular vet office) absolutely loved every single member of the staff, and looked forward to visiting her friends each chance she got. The team is so kind, compassionate, and realistic when it comes to developing treatment plans - I am especially appreciative of their prioritization of lymphoma patients. With the help of Dr. Romansik and the team, we had a year and a half of extra memories with Pomona. They even helped coordinate her continued care when we moved across the country. I don’t think I can ever truly thank them for how much they impacted our lives, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of them.
July 02 · Meg KingI adopted my cat Marshee (short for "Marshmal-Low") back in March 2024 and she was diagnosed with mammary cancer in April 2024 with a poor prognosis because of the size of her tumors. I went to Animal Cancer Care Specialists for a consultation with apprehension of what they would suggest that would need to be done. However, I was immediately put at ease by Laurie, Dr Romansik, Deb, Dr Cronin (we joked about Marshee and dogs checking her out in her carrier in the waiting room a couple of times), and all the staff. Marshee had six rounds of chemo, and graduated from chemo in October 2024 and earned her graduation neckerchief. Unfortunately, two more very small lumps recently appeared where her surgical sites were. She was scheduled for an ultrasound in a few weeks. However, a couple of weeks ago she was not feeling well one day, and she passed away peacefully in my arms at home about an hour later. I was given a few months of remission for Marshee and she was happy and spunky until her last day. If your pet has cancer, please know that everyone at ACCS has the best interest in mind for your pet. The patience that they show for their patients is amazing. Marshee was a drooler and made her treatments challenging to say the least! Dr Romansik always kept me up to date with what was going on in the treatment room. Thank you to Laurie, Dr Romansik, Deb, Dr Cronin, and all the staff for your wonderful care of Marshee. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
March 05 · JanieWe want to give a very special thank you to the whole ACCS team! There isn’t another team of professionals I would trust more with the treatment and management of my beloved Xena’s canine lymphoma. The staff has always gone above and beyond at every single visit. Everyone there is so helpful, caring, patient and Xena sure was loved on and spoiled at every visit - Xena always was excited to see her friends there! Dr. Cronin was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, thorough and caring! Laurie was always happy to give Xena some extra love at her visits too! The technicians on Dr. Cronin’s team were absolutely amazing and were always so sweet and gentle with Xena. I couldn’t recommend a better place for your pet to receive cancer treatment. Xena is now in remission & enjoying her extra time with us thanks to every member of the ACCS team! Thank you all! ❤️
July 18 · Holly MorrellIf you’re reading this, I am so sorry. A cancer diagnosis is heartbreaking. Our girl, Phoebe, was diagnosed in August. We came to ACCS scared and devastated.Dr. Romansik explained everything to us, gave us our options and - most importantly - our girl loved him. All of the staff members are wonderful and incredibly supportive and understanding. They not only gave us hope, they also gave us 5 extra months with our girl. Good months. We’re so incredibly grateful. To Dr. Romansik and staff: Thank you for everything ❤️
January 25 · Dina DesharnaisIf you are reading this, I am sorry. Cancer for a loved one especially a pet is such a hard discovery. We had our wonderful little Tivi who was diagnosed with Lymphoma at 13 months old. Just a baby and he got so sick. It was so hard to find him care at first. He was our baby and we wanted to fight it no matter what. The incredible staff at ACCS took on our case.We had a fighter, and I don't mean just a cancer fighter. The staff was incredibly patient with him in his treatment. Always focused on the best care and his comfort. We tried everything and we had some lovely periods where he was healthy and happy. Unfortunately, in our case it didn't last, and we said goodbye last Sep 1st.Humanity doesn't do enough for our furry friends, it's true. We dont have all the tools and drugs to cure these debilitating and lethal illnesses. I hope that we do one day, but I know we did everything we could for our little guy. I know that Dr. Romansik did and suggested everything he could to save our loved one. I wish more than anything that Tivi was still with us, but I have great comfort in that he was in the best care he could have been in.It's taken me much longer than I wanted to, to write this. I have had lots of time to process and reflect on our journery and I wanted to make sure I shared our experience with Dr. Romansik and his staff. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this practice is and how compassionate they are. When it was our last appointment, as we knew our fight was over, they shared kind words and advice on how to say goodbye and keep him comfortable. You cannot ask for more.Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you gave us a precious couple months with our special baby boy, Tivi.
