★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Golovyan and her rescue mission and efforts! They do an amazing job from start to finish in helping so many animals find their forever home! We snagged this cutie up a few months ago!!!
April 05 · dana hardenWe recently adopted a pup here and have been totally satisfied with the experience. This is our first dog rescue, our other dogs were all purchased through breeders or pet stores. Communication has been great, we got to see the dog before deciding and it was a great touch leaving us in the room alone with the dog so that we could discuss things privately before committing. These decisions shouldn't be taken lightly and the seriousness about the well being of the animals they care for is clearly evident. Fees have been very affordable and dates and rates for future care have been established beforehand. This clinic provides for a great avenue to become a first parent or a once again parent as they do an outstanding job setting up new parents for success.
September 17 · Eric MuellerI’ve been using Animal Clinic of Milford for years now. They are a fantastic veterinary practice and I highly recommend. From the receptionists to the techs to the vets: they’re all wonderful. They have cared for my oldest cat, Boomerang, from the time he was about a year old until his death a few months ago. They were kind and wonderful during his passing, they got me in right away, and I can’t thank Dr. G and her techs enough for making the process as easy as possible. My younger cat, Raccoon, I rescued from their recommendation when she was 3-4 months old. They had no kittens but with their rescue at the time, but another vet they knew had her and she’d been a perfect fit! (We call her a Covid kitty since I got her mid covid shut down and is very skittish around people as we had no visitors!) She does very well when seeing them and the staff are gentle, kind, and make her visits as stress free as possible. The vets have never pushed for things she doesn’t need and Dr. Maley and Dr. G always answer any questions I have.My dog Cheeseburger the Chorkie, the day I got him I rushed him to see the vets, Dr. Maley cut his lunch break short to fit him in. I got the puppy package with them and they’ve done wonderful with him since! One day he rolled over and I saw a lump on his belly and panicked. I called and they got me in within 48hrs (as he was still eating/drinking/using the bathroom normal), he was diagnosed with cryptorchidism (an undescended testicle) which is common in chihuahuas/yorkies. Dr. Maley suggested we do bloodwork that day and book his neuter for a few weeks. He also suggested we take out his 3 baby teeth that had not fallen out so he will not have to go under anesthesia twice or risk the baby teeth harming the adult ones coming in now that he was a year old. The surgery went fantastic and he got his yearly shots at his follow up! Cheese adores Dr. Maley, it’s absolutely adorable, when we pull up to the vet he gets so excited.I love this practice, the staff are knowledgeable and kind. I will continue using and recommending them for years to come!
September 01 · Chloe PechinskiWe recently had an emergency and had to put our dog down. It was one of the worst days of our life. Everyone at this facility was incredibly professional, kind, patient, and helpful. The doctor and staff went above and beyond for us. A special thank you to Alex for his empathy and compassion. Thank you to everyone here for making one of the worst days a bit more bearable. Our family is forever grateful to you.
August 19 · Katharine CoppolaI am heartbroken and furious about the treatment my 4 year old dog, Abbott and I received at this clinic. For months, we voiced concerns about his health, only to be dismissed repeatedly and assured that everything was fine. It wasn’t until Abbott became lethargic and could hardly move from their floor that they finally decided to run further tests. By then, they discovered a mass in his chest larger than his heart.Even during this devastating news, the clinic showed no sense of urgency or compassion. While I was fighting back tears, the vet was giggling behind the front desk. Their “best advice” was to take him home because he was “stable enough” and wait two days for a chest CT—or take him to the hospital, where they suggested we’d likely hear the same thing. We took Abbott to an emergency vet hospital and he was diagnosed with stage 4 mediastinal lymphoma that same day. He went into septic shock and respiratory distress shortly after and wasn’t strong enough for treatment. This illness didn’t come out of nowhere. Abbott had been showing symptoms for months— rapid weight loss, lethargy, increased thirst, abnormal behaviors such as pooping and peeing in the house - symptoms that were dismissed by not one, but two vets at this clinic. Their negligence and lack of care cost Abbott his life and robbed us of the time we could’ve had if he was able to start treatment sooner. I trusted them to provide the care he needed, and they failed us in the worst way possible. If you love your pets, I urge you to find a clinic that listens to your concerns, takes them seriously, and treats both you and your animals with the compassion and urgency you deserve. If you want to see yourself the lack of compassion this clinic has, look at the owners patronizing back handed responses to the 1 star reviews.
