★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Been coming here 5+ years. Had a horrendous experience this morning that mirrored similar experiences my family and I have had in the past here. The lack of empathy (especially from the brunette receptionist) was heartbreaking. I was inquiring about whether it is appropriate to bring in my cat after eating cooked chicken bones and vomiting. I wanted to know the level of danger. I even brought the bone with me. This is not the first time they REFUSED to consult to any degree (even whether to bring him in or not!) without an appointment. It comes off that they prioritize money over the love and care of animals. It is difficult to send your pets somewhere that has a widespread lack of compassion.I am a doctor myself and I would never treat a patient in such a disregarding manner. Even if I can’t give a conclusive answer about prognosis, I would at least advise whether it’s appropriate to come in!! I was left to rely on Google answers to inform me what to do/watch out for. Fortunately, a different vet consulted with me online and gave me advice without even needing to come in.The doctors at Companion are great at their jobs in the sense that one of my cats had a successful surgery there. With that being said, even the doctor will treat my cats with an aloof attitude and an air of disregard. This was the final straw.
April 15 · Vanessa RussoMilford is fortunate to have so many veterinarian options. We have tried most of them. In our experience, Companion has provided the most hospitable and amenable service. Highly recommended.
June 14 · Chad ShipleyIncredible service from everyone who works at Companion. Dr. Steph is caring, highly detailed, and extremely knowledgeable….highly recommend Companion for your dog or cat.
August 15 · jay arnoldStay Away!!! Had our baby Zena there for an appointment for her upset stomach. They took x rays and prescribed her pain medication for her nausea. Because they did not recommend or do a ultrasound…Zena had an obstruction in her intestines. Long story short she had to go into emergency surgery to get the obstruction removed. Companion Animal Hospital could have saved Zena several days of pain, suffering and a complicated surgery if they only had done a thorough examination and ultrasound to begin with. Very Disappointed with their quality of treatment.
February 16 · Christopher MSo the doctors and techs were great. Very open and clean. I was not a fan of being told $415 over the phone for 3 8 week old puppies to get their exams, dhpp vaccines and dewormer but got charged $740 for a $70 fecal exam for each puppy which i did not ask for (i did not bring in any poop samples for them to test) and a lepto vaccine i did not ask for either. They also said they showed me an invoice before taking us back but I did not see anything before they brought me and my puppies back, only confirmed the appointment. They also take your pet out of the room for their vaccines (my normal vet does everything in front of you) and I heard each of my puppies screaming from the back room as I was in the lobby waiting for them to be brought out. I personally will not be going back nor will be recommending this place to anyone I know.
