Another review echoes this sentiment, with a family expressing gratitude for the "patient, kind, and professional" staff who helped them say their "final goodbyes" to their sweet Oakley. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Hands down the best place to take your pet. I called the Arizona Humane Society during an incredibly difficult time with my dog, Roxy. Not only did they get me in immediately, but their compassion, professionalism, and support helped me make one of the hardest decisions of my life regarding her health. They even reimbursed me for the doctor’s appointment and applied it toward the cost of euthanasia. Their kindness and understanding made all the difference. I’m beyond grateful for the care they gave to Roxy and the respect they showed us both.
June 27 · David BrzezinskiWe had to make our final goodbyes to our sweet Oakley this morning at the South Mountain Clinic. I would like to thank the wonderful staff that helped us. They were patient, kind, and professional. We are grateful that they could take care of the cremation for us, and that we will have a way to remember her forever. ❤️
January 21 · Kenzie JeffsI had a fantastic experience at the Humane Society! From the moment I arrived for my scheduled appointment, everything was smooth and efficient. I was taken straight to the back at my appointment time, and I didn’t have to wait long in the exam room before the tech came in. The entire process—from exams to bloodwork—was quick, and they promptly returned with the diagnosis and next steps for my dog.Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, approachable, and made me feel comfortable. Unlike some other vet clinics, I never felt pressured or awkward. One of the standout features of their service is their telehealth sessions, which are quick, easy, and convenient for getting expert advice without a long wait—definitely a plus! The only hiccup I experienced was with the assistance program. I had applied but didn’t realize I needed to mention it, so the staff wasn’t aware, and I ended up paying full price. That was likely my oversight, but it’s something to keep in mind for future visits.Overall, I absolutely love this place and will continue coming back. Their friendly atmosphere and efficient service made all the difference!
May 20 · Sherita RileyTook my kitten to the Margaret McAllister Brock clinic for a neuter & vaccine appointment feeling confident in the clinic’s high ratings. Came home with false assurances and found that my kitten had an unexpected surgical incision on his lower abdomen. I understand this is a high volume location, which is why I was expecting an email documenting the medical necessity for this procedure (spoiler: it’s for neutering cats with undescended testicles, wink wonk). Also, it’d be nice to have proof that he received his vaccines.Needless to say, my expectations were not met, hence this dismal review. I received no email receipt of my payment either, for that matter (although the clinic was sure quick to charge my bank.)Just what happened to my kitten at the place?
April 26 · Michael KimI've been sitting in the lobby for the last 30 minutes while they try and figure out how to give me back the cash I just paid them. They still can't figure it out. Drove almost an hour to get the basic shots for my cat. They don't let you go back with your animal, so she is understandably too scared to come out of the cage for them. I'm glad I just asked for a refund instead of rescheduling because this place is completely clueless. My poor cat has been confined this entire time. We are literally just sitting here waiting for them to refund us like they offered. Also, I overheard them trying to tell a lady checking in she HAD to use her phone to sign consent forms. Not everyone has or wants a smartphone. Either get a tablet to use or print it out like normal people. I will update once I call around, but after all the stuff they add on, I really don't think it's cheaper than a normal vet. Think twice before you come here, not worth a drive!
