★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Don’t go here! Very unsanitary and they make you wait up to 2 hours after your scheduled appointment. Vet was not helpful and after 3 visits couldn’t help. Went to Washington animal hospital and after one visit they were able to help my dog.
May 08 · DQPositive first impression! We continue to really love our Puppy Visits to the Animal Health Center! Both doctors there are excellent and the staff is friendly and accommodating! (Sly loves to see the chickens!!)
February 04 · Deb CirilloI hate giving a place that helps animals and low rating but, my experiences there equate to that. The first time bringing my dogs there I was appalled by the smell alone. As some one who has such a minor allergy to cats and dogs I wouldn't consider myself allergic at all, when I was here my eyes began itching and watering as well as my throat. The place was so encumbered by animal dander dirt and in general uncleanness that my barely existent allergies attacked. I don't want to know what it would have done to my husband, who actually is allergic to cats. Side note, they have a cage of kittens in the main waiting area that you can't touch. What a temptation! My kids who were with me the first time just wanted to pet them and I had to wrangle them as well as my dogs away. Put the poor kittens where people and dogs can't bother them. It likely is a stressed for the kittens too.The staff seemed friendly enough, but when they trimmed my dogs nails they cut the quick on every single one and had him bleeding all over the place while he shook terrified. That dog has never been afraid a day in his life (unlike my other one) and he was shaking. My other dog is old and anxious, so she shakes about everything. They only had her bleeding a little bit.The second time we went back, it was because old girl had a hematoma in her ear. The older man who saw my dog drained her ear with a syringe and taped her ear together for pressure and said, this works about 30% of the time. I went with it but it made no sense with him knowing she's had to have surgery to stop this before. We ended up at another vet the next week to take care of it. This was supposed to be our last time there because of the smalls, the lack of cleanliness etc but my hubs booked another one forgetting this was the no place. This was for check ups and updated shots. The check up for 1 of 2 dogs instead of both was weird, but they weighed them and did their nails, less bleeding this time on one, no bleeding on the other. The weird thing was they didn't check ears despite me telling them the one had a small hematoma again (she's a head shaker which I told them) and didn't check her mouth even though I mentioned her losing teeth in her old age and her nasty breath. They do have a good size area to walk your dogs, and visiting the chickens is nice.We now are taking them to another vet.
October 14 · JessicaSpecial place that helps all animals in need and more. Fundraisers needed to finish new shelter
August 23 · Jody HallI will NEVER go to this place again I had my husky neutered 1/20/25 mind you he's all white how can they let this happen knowing I have to wait 10 days before I can clean him properly. I called the place and I was told try to clean the area the best you can then I was told that the doctor said if it doesn't come out I can easily shave him 😳 does he know how long it will take to grow back. Look at these pictures and I'm suppose to shave it 🙄 NEVER AGAIN whom ever the doctor is shave your head 🙄
