Doctor Barry is the sweetest, kindest, and all-around amazing soul. Her team is top-notch, too! I've been bringing my babies to see her since before she opened her practice. When my pets are there for drop-off appointments (which are the best for my busy schedule), I get regular text updates with pictures. When we had tough decisions to make for our elder pets, she was so sweet. She is not the type to sugar-coat anything but manages to still maintain decorum and compassion. From my young ones up to my elderly babes, she sees them all and they all love her. She focuses her practice on doing what is in the best interest of the pets, including actively training all of her staff in low-stress handling skills. She does in-house blood work, has a bunch of awesome cutting-edge technologies, and gives great referrals. She's never afraid of requesting second opinions if she thinks it's warranted, either. When my cattle dog broke his foot, she and her team were ready to handle it all but still recommended that I reach out to an orthopedic vet to confirm her treatment plan. In April 2025 I welcomed a Whippet puppy into my family and I decided to use Baker Ranch Animal Hospital as our primary veterinarian. I have been so pleased with my decision. We brought our dog in who has been dealing with a chronic skin condition to see Dr. Barry last week. Dr. Barry and the team were extremely caring, thorough, and knowledgable. What struck me most was how much time and thoughtful consideration Dr. Barry took to find the root cause of the condition. She also tried to find ways to make the testing less expensive for us. The British lady vet told us that our dog needed genetic testing and tried to use scare tactics to get us to spend $950+ for various tests. My 2 dogs were having severe diarrhea and vommiting. my smaller dog was her patient. My other dog was not. She refused to hear about my other dogs symptoms and totally brushed us off. They were having the exact same symptoms. We ended up getting hydration and some over priced gravol for my dog.Both dogs had Giardia. She said it was most DEFINITELY NOT GIARDIA.All she wanted was our money. She needs to have her license revoked.

Our pup Moo was recently diagnosed with Diabetes. I was referred to Baker Ranch Animal Hospital by a friend that has had. A great experience with Dr Bakers office. I can share that the recommendation is warranted. The office has a personalized, boutique feel to it. The staff is warm and welcoming. The exam rooms feel more like mini dog hotels than a vet office 😃. Our vet Dr Wilson was very thorough in discussing how she wants to approach our diabetic treatment for Moo.An added plus is that the office offers 3 monthly subscription tiers of wellness programs. The plans are pretty comprehensive with some including X-rays, ultrasounds and dental work. Having a diabetic pip I know that I will be visiting the office frequently so their plans with covered exams made financial sense for us.The personal touch of having a Moo cow drawn on our goody bag is indicative of the personal touch this office offers.
