What is worth choosing
Choosing a veterinary care provider is a decision that many pet owners in Arizona consider with great care. When evaluating Banfield Pet Hospital in Queen Creek, it's important to weigh all aspects of the experience. The hospital offers a significant range of services, which can be a major convenience for those who prefer to have all their pet's care managed in one location. Their comprehensive list, from routine vaccinations to complex surgeries, means that most of a pet's health needs can be met here. The focus on accessibility, as evidenced by the wheelchair-accessible car park, is also a positive aspect, demonstrating a commitment to serving all members of the community. However, it is also essential for prospective clients to consider the experiences of other local pet owners. Some reviews from real customers highlight potential areas of concern, such as the preference for direct communication with a veterinarian. One client’s experience notes a perceived lack of face-to-face interaction with the doctor, which they found to be a significant drawback. This type of feedback is valuable for anyone considering the hospital, as it points to the potential for a different kind of patient-client dynamic than one might find at a smaller, more localized clinic. The issue of a past balance and its impact on emergency care is also a serious point of consideration for any pet owner, as it speaks to the hospital's priorities. These kinds of real-world experiences are crucial for making an informed decision about where to take a beloved family member for care. While the hospital offers a broad scope of services and has the backing of a large network, local pet owners should carefully evaluate whether the specific patient care model and policies align with their personal preferences and priorities for their animal's health and well-being. This balanced perspective is key to making the best choice for your pet in the Arizona region.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I thought I would give Banfield another chance with my new 8 week old puppy. I was in, what I thought was the exam room, with whom I am assuming was the vet tech, he couldn't really answer any of my questions. And he took my dog in the back & brought her back, said everything was good, but still couldn't answer any of my other questions without having to go back and ask the doctor and come back and talk to me. I would prefer face to face with the doctors. I think that's very important. Why I never got to see or talk to the veterinarian who supposedly did the exam makes me question them. I Had a similar experience with late dog a few years ago. Needless to say I will certainly stay with local vets who care about our pets.
August 05 · Richard HughesDog is currently in an emergency, but Banfield "Cannot see your dog until this balance is paid off" So a collection balance that has never been reported on my credit report is a higher priority over a pet at a pet hospital? They just want your money guys, your animals are not a priority here. (Less then $300 back from 2018) Again never reported to my credit so how is it in collections?
July 31 · Adam HoltDr. Harod is cold, rude, condescending, and lacks empathy. She walks in and stated “so I don’t get what we’re doing today.” She did not smile at all and spoke with an attitude like I was a child she was scolding. We have been treating a difficult case in our dog for over 4 years now. At the last visit we had another vet mention we start speaking about quality of life or end of life care since the medications are not doing what they should be. So I did a quality of life visit today and the way she spoke to me and regarding this case was absolutely unacceptable. I am an RN and currently in NP school, and I would never speak to any of my patients or their families the way she did. She repeated several times she would not do euthanasia because my dog is still young and maybe “rehoming her to someone who will do the things for her that SHE NEEDS would give her a chance, and if other treatments don’t work then they can decide to euthanize her.” After I repeatedly said I do not want to euthanize her today, I’m trying to figure out what I am supposed to do next which she basically told me “well you’ve tried everything” and kept telling me The other medications recommended are multiple hundreds of dollars a month with the possibility they won’t work. So because we are unable to spend thousands on our dog I am “unwilling to do what my dog needs” in Dr. Harod’s words. Our dog is very much loved and we do what we can for her. I had a slightly similar experience last year and honestly this is why I avoid the vet.The judgemental tone of this vet is doing absolutely nothing to help the animals she has vowed to serve, and once this year is finished I will be cancelling our wellness plan and going elsewhere. Banfield, you would do yourself some good by parting ways with this vet who clearly doesn’t care about the families she has chosen to “help”. I will be filing a formal complaint as well.
June 24 · Lindsey GehrkeMy experience here has made me decide not to renew my Banfield wellness plan. This was an absolute waste of my time. I understood it was a drop off appointment and all other drop off have been very clear about pick up times. I was told my dog would be ready at 12-1 at the latest as she was there at 8am. When I checked-in at 1 they hadn't even looked at my dog and could give no timeline as to when she would be seen. The staff was in no way accommodating or helpful and told me I could take my dog or wait another 4-5 HOURS. Needless to say I am done with Banfield and searching for a new vet.
March 16 · Abbie HarlowAlissa team and Dr. Davis team have continually exceeded my expectations in how Harley was cared for and how I was treated. I came in early hoping to get Harley seen, after a very rough night, she started on a cycle of stomach diarrhea every 2 hours, 11pm until 6am , Harley was exhausted. Banfield sensed my urgency and plea for help when I came in early in hopes to get her seen. Dr. Davis and her team followed through on updates and phone calls with me. I have my Harley back on the way to recovery. I trust Banfield and this team with my Harley, because they truly 'care' about animals and the pawrents too,Thank You Banfield- Queen Creek location -applause!
