For this reason, we at Bristol County Veterinary Hospital believe in providing top of the line dental care to our clients. The mouth and the teeth will always be looked at in our wellness and diagnostic exams but if something is seen, a dental, or further dental imaging may be suggested.
- Veterinary Internal Medicine
- Veterinary Lab Services
We have a full-service in-house diagnostic lab that allows us to perform chemistry profiles, complete blood cell counts, electrolyte level measurements, urinalysis tests, and cytology evaluations.
- Veterinary Medical
- Veterinary Pharmacy
- Veterinary Radiology
While laboratory work is essential for monitoring the well-being of a pet, it does fall short in diagnosing other chronic or dangerous issues such as heart disease, orthopedic issues, respiratory disease, or, that dreaded disease we all fear, cancer.
- Veterinary Surgery
- Veterinary Ultrasound
Ultrasound is an invaluable, complementary diagnostic tool to radiographs that can assist the veterinarians in localizing diseases such as cancer, differentiate between chronic and acute diseases of the kidneys or liver, can diagnose urinary diseases and can help in the assessment of foreign bodies.
- Veterinary Wellness and Diagnostic Exams
The physical exam of your pet and beloved family member is at the heart of our practice. In today’s world, it is easy to start viewing the body as separate pieces (i.e. an eye problem, an ear problem, etc.).

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My initial reason for going to this location was mainly to be closer to home and I’m so glad I did. I was very impressed with how clean the parking lot and the outside of the building, as for the inside as well, walking in for the first time with Cooper the entire staff was very very friendly, which I found very refreshing. I don’t remember any of the names yet but I was Really impressed with everyone the young lady who helped the doctor was very knowledgeable, friendly, informative. Both her and the doctor interacted in a very friendly way with Cooper and I could tell he was really happy to be there, thank you to everyone who made us feel very welcomed and comfortable
September 01 · Goretti RichterThe staff and doctors at BCVet are superb. Top shelf service and tremendous “bed side manners”. Daisy has received the best care possible and she always “looks” forward to the visit. Keep up the great work.
April 15 · Bill AshWe have been taking our pets (a large dog and a cat) here for a little over 2 years. Everyone there is very patient and kind. They give you paper estimates and talk to you about options before doing anything which is fantastic. They are very communicative and can be reached by phone, email, or the pet key app. They are very knowledgeable and never make you feel belittled.
August 07 · Heidi RodriguesI really appreciated the kindness Bristol County Veterinary Hospital showed me on what was one of the worst days of my life. My 4 1/2 year old cat got very sick within the span of a few days. I called for an appointment early in the morning. They got back to me very quickly and got me in to see the vet. I learned that my cat had a tumor. I was shocked and devastated. They were so kind to me and my cat, Roma, and patient in my grief. And, they did their best to help me understand what was happening. Roma needed a specialist so they called around and sent me to Ocean State Emergency Veterinary Hospital in East Greenwich, RI. My poor Roma had to be put to sleep. Thank you to the doctor and technician who were so compassionate in my grief. I would highly recommend Bristol County.
October 24 · Melissa DamianiGreat customer services at front desk, nurse ,and the doctor. They all very nice 😊! My French bulldog has bad allergies, so I called and they scheduled her the next business day. Love it how they shows the love for my fur babies. Thank you to all of them
