Cardigan Veterinary Clinic Introduce
For residents of New Hampshire, our pets are an integral part of our lives, and their health and happiness are paramount. Finding a veterinarian who can be a trusted partner for everything from routine check-ups to unexpected emergencies is a crucial decision. In Canaan, Cardigan Veterinary Clinic stands as a cornerstone of the community, offering a comprehensive suite of services as a veterinarian, an animal hospital, and an emergency service provider. With a legacy of over 15 years, this clinic has built a reputation for providing exceptional care, treating a wide variety of animals, and offering a level of professionalism that inspires confidence in pet owners.
The philosophy at Cardigan Veterinary Clinic is rooted in a deep love for animals and a commitment to providing the best possible care at every stage of their lives. A long-time customer, a patient for over 15 years, attests to this, expressing immense trust in the staff and the knowledge of Dr. Hutchinson, who is praised for being "very knowledgeable and gives you the best options he can." This kind of long-term loyalty speaks volumes about the quality of care and the strong relationships the clinic builds with its clients. The staff, from the doctors to the "office crew," are frequently described as great and accommodating.
However, it's important to acknowledge that every business can have varying customer experiences. A review from a customer who had a negative experience highlights the importance of clear communication and consistency in policies. The customer felt that a sudden change in policy regarding vaccinations, which they had previously obtained elsewhere, resulted in their pets being "dropped" as patients, even when one was ill. This feedback underscores the importance of transparent communication between a clinic and its clients. While the customer still noted that the doctor was "good," the interaction with the front desk led to a feeling of being uncared for. This article provides a factual look at the clinic's offerings, helping you make a well-informed decision for your pet's care in the New Hampshire community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place has taken care of all my animals in the past 15 years. I love them they are great. Dr. Hutchinson is very knowledgeable and gives you the best options he can. We just rescued a dog yesterday and I can’t wait to have him seen there. I know he needs some attention from our vet and I trust them. The office crew is great as well. Can’t imagine someone having a bad experience.
July 20 · Robin RondeauHave been going here for 3 years and then all of a sudden we weren’t patients anymore here all because I got my dogs vaccinated at a clinic because I couldn’t afford their prices. Clearly they don’t care about animals like they say they do. I also had an appointment today there for my cat and one dog who is pooping blood and they still wouldn’t see her even knowing the issues that my dog was having. Not impressed at all with how they dealt with this. So if you are thinking of bringing your animals here just be careful cause they really don’t care.
March 24 · Brianna whiteI love this vet. I had an emergency with my dog. Her hips or back dislocated which I guess happens with dogs who have long back like a dachshund. She was pretty much screaming with every movement. I tried a vet close to us but the refused to take her even as she was screaming. So I called here and they took her in 2 hours. I pulled out $1000 from my savings not know how much it was cost. They were very helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. They told me everything and after examining her gave me steroids and pain medication. Those two prescriptions and the exam only cost me $100. Very grateful to them for helping my baby out and she healed within a couple weeks. Back to her wiggle butt self. I moved away but will definitely drive the hour just to go back when I need to
April 30 · Lizzie “Conkeygirl91” ConkeyIf I could give this place a zero I would. I went with my cat and the front desk and vet techs were great however Dr. Hutchinson was terrible. My cat had a large tumor on her face however he handled her so aggressively. She was the sweetest cat ever and never aggressive and he slammed her down on the table. There was blood on the table. After he did the exam he gave me no options other than just put her down. He maybe said five words about treatments options and it was "I'd put her down today"
June 05 · J RoThe "Doctor" refused to treat my sick kitten because we had him fixed at another facility. And he told us not to bring back any of our other animals!! Very unprofessional! Vets do take an oath don"t they??
