With regular dental cleanings (dental prophylaxis), proper gum and periodontal health can be better maintained. Studies have proven that good dental health can considerably lengthen a pet’s life span. Dental disease can result in negative effects on the liver, kidneys, and heart.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great place for your furry babies! Been a customer for last 4yrs, Dr.Chris and team is amazing. Being a furry parent you get peace of mind if you have a good vet. My 5.5yr old PWD baby was loosing weight unexpectedly, thanks to my groomer who noticed and alerted us, and was feeling very lethargic for few weeks. At the first sick visit to get him checked out, Dr Chris did the exam and ran few tests, which all came back normal. Listening to the symptoms on the next week follow up appointment Dr. Chris had a gut feeling that it might be his hormonal imbalance with adrenal gland, Addison’s disease, which may or may not be the reason for his lethargy and loos of appetite & weight. This is something usually diagnosed very late in the course of the Addison’s disease, he said. We are very grateful that Dr. Chris could immediately start with the medication and try the treatment for Addison’s. At the 3rd visit, with no appetite and loosing more weight, to be 100% sure of the diagnosis he again ordered another blood test to check his electrolytes. This time the results came back confirming his suspected diagnosis was correct! Thank you Dr. Chris for being persistent and catching it this early and helping our baby get back to his almost normal life ❣️Hoping for a full recovery soon. Thank you Caring Heart Family❣️🙏🏻
June 19 · Daya ShyamCaring Hearts and Dr. Chris are truly a blessing for our fur babies. Over the past 30 years, I’ve been to many neighborhood vets, but none have shown the level of genuine care and compassion that we’ve found here. We’re the proud parents of four rescue dogs, including two with special emotional needs who often struggle with vets and new situations. Dr. Chris and his wonderful team understand this completely and have taken such thoughtful, gentle care of them for years. He’s thorough, kind, and deeply committed to the wellbeing of both pets and their humans. We’re so grateful for Dr. Chris and everyone at Caring Hearts — we can’t imagine trusting anyone else with our beloved dogs.
July 24 · Jayasree NatarajanWas so happy that Dr. Chris was able to schedule Phoebe’s follow-up so soon, she had been presenting with a limp and it was good to get her in to understand what the underlying issue was since it had not yet resolved itself. After 6 years, I submitted our first claim to Trupanion, and both my claim for her first visit and the pre-estimate for today’s procedure were approved overnight! I get to pick her up in a few minutes :)Northstar’s Moose on the Loose in Chesterfield also loves Dr. Chris and is so happy that he can always be seen at the same time as Phoebe Girl. He just got a clean bill of health!
