What truly makes CompleteCare Veterinary Center a standout choice for pet owners in Staten Island are the unique features and compassionate highlights that define their service. The practice is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients. Customer reviews frequently highlight the staff's professionalism, kindness, and skill. One client shared a story about their non-cooperative pup and a nail clipping that multiple other places had refused to do. Dr. Rodriguez, William, and Liz "worked quickly and professionally" and were able to get the job done, showing their expertise and patience with difficult pets. Another heartfelt review describes the staff's caring and understanding nature during a difficult time when their dog, Bear, had a cancerous tumor removed. The client was grateful for the "countless follow ups from the entire staff" and felt that they were "forever in debt" to the team. These testimonials speak volumes about the level of personal and compassionate care provided at this clinic. It’s important to note, however, that a more recent review mentions a change in the clinic's ownership and operations. While the high praise for the staff and care is clear, the community's concern over the management's decision to close the location highlights the deep trust and loyalty the original team had earned.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I took my pup for a nail clipping at this establishment. My pup has been turned away by several places who would not clip his nails citing he was non cooperative. Dr. Rodriguez , William and Liz ensured me they could get it done. I was nervous and concerned it couldn’t happen. To my relief they worked quickly and professionally. They knew how to calm my pup and work expeditiously to get the job done. I’m so grateful and relieved to know this place exits with such professional staff. Highly recommend.
January 02 · Lucy JonesWe love all the doctors there. Our dog Bear recently had a cancerous tumor successfully removed. The entire staff was so caring and understanding while we were going through such a difficult time. Even post operation there were countless follow ups from the entire staff. We can’t thank them enough. From the bottom of our hearts we are forever in debt to Lou, Dr Lukas, Dr Sangiorgio and everyone else working there. We pray they are able to re-establish the practice in the near future. As far as their parent company goes….We are beyond livid at Destination Pets for shutting this location. They shut their phones off because they didnt want to hear it from their former customers. What kind of low brow organization treats people that are so committed to helping people and their animals like this. They didn’t even give them a weeks notice to save a nickel. They are bottom of the barrel and should be ashamed to be in this line of work.
March 27 · MikeOn August 1, 2024 I had to say goodbye to Chucky. Chucky was my first dog that I’ve had since I was 7 years old and gave me the greatest 16 years of my life. He was my soul dog, my best friend, my entire world. Chucky had a brother Marly who we had to say goodbye to January 10, 2021. I loved both of my boys with my entire heart and hope they’re playing with each other by the rainbow bridge. The point of this post is to thank CompleteCare Vet Center at 1293 Clove road here on Staten Island for everything they’ve done for my Family & I. Although the process of losing Chucky completely wrecked me, I couldn’t have asked for a better vet and staff to help me go through this process. When I had to pick up Chucky’s ashes a few days later the girl at the front said to me that Chucky was such a good boy and saved some of his fur for me and gave me an ink print of his nose. Today I received a sympathy card with hand written notes from the entire staff and more ink prints of his nose and his paw print and it meant the entire world to me. I attached some pictures of Chucky and Marly and of course the note. Thank you CompleteCare🥺❤️.
