I am not sure what is happening at Hapoy Tails. We have always had wonderful experiences here. The last two times we visited, there was a different vibe in the office and one of the women behind the desk was talking down to me and it was uncomfortable. I called because I thought my dog had a UTI and explained that when I called. I was told that they were not able to get me in for two days. When I asked if she though I should bring my pet to one of the emergency clinics she replied “ I can’t tell you what to do but we can’t see your pet today or tomorrow - we have no appointments . Dr Rovere would always see us and ask us to come in at the end of the day. I waited and brought in urine sample for analysis, Dr Edwards called me the next day to tell me the dog did have a UTI and to come and get antibiotics as well as they found crystals in her urine. After two full days of meds our dog was not getting better but I felt she was getting worse . I called again and got the same woman who told me I did not give it enough time for meds to work. I asked to talk to the vet and she told me the Dr would tell me the same thing. Like a jerk, I listened to her. Needless to say we ended up at GS animal hospital four days later where it was shared my dog had bladder stones and needed surgery to remove them as they would not dissolve with meds, she had too many. Dr Edwards called the next day because she received the records from GS animal hospital and left a message that the office is going through transition and to finish the meds . She shared she had a new vet starting next week and not sure if she would feel comfortable doing the surgery but to call her back. Waiting another week for surgery???? The dog has been in pain with blood in her urine for a week at this point! Where is Dr Rovere???? Anyone know what happened or where she is ?

Actually can’t believe the way I was spoken to. Brought my cat who has eyelid agenesis and is being taken care of for so at garden state vet which happy tails clearly knew about as I’ve been with them for years but first time with Dr. Edward’s, for a rash on his neck where he was ripping away fur. She refused to acknowledge the actual problem and laughed saying it was only a small patch and would only allow me to have my cat treated if she was able to do an extra $50 eye exam for something we all already know. I’ve never been talked to by a “professional” like this before and am disgusted. If you have an appointment with Dr. Edward’s cancel it immediately she is an absolutely terrible vet and human being.

I can’t leave enough stars about this business! Dr. Rovere is a special human being. From day one of us switching to this vet we have been so happy. Dr. Rovere really takes her time with the animals and takes the time to explain everything. She genuinely cares and her knowledge shines through. Her staff is always so friendly and helpful. They do not overcharge or recommend unnecessary expenses. Thank you so much for your care! Clyde says thank you! 🐾

I truly cannot say enough great things about Happy Tails. I've been coming here for a few years now since they literally saved my cats life. Our family has grown, taking on two more dogs and now this is the only place I'll bring each of my pets. The veterinarians and the techs, and even the front desk associates genuinely love and care for your animals, they have so much compassion for them and truly treat them as if they are their own. Each and every veterinarian is so passionate and dedicated to this field and they will do whatever they can to help out and will squeeze you in if their crazy day has the room. I drive 40 minutes each way but will continue to make the drive because there is no one else i'd trust my pets with! Its so hard to find good people who really care these days and its so reassuring knowing that they still exist, and they are all conveniently located under one roof at Happy Tails. They all deserve so much more credit than they get. 1000000 stars out of 10! We love you guys!!
