★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We adopted Spice, a rescue Maltipoo, so needed to find a vet. Since Dr. Naeto (sp) was recommended by our Costco pet insurance (Figo) and all of my new neighbors already vouched for her, I felt lucky to get an appointment for Spice's teeth cleaning. They're very busy but I'm happy with the results; and, I didn't get in to see her, but had Dr. Manson who was exceptionally helpful in getting the answers Figo needed answered in reimbursing me for the teeth cleaning appointment. I'm giving them five stars because they deserve five stars for the service they provide. You'll never be sorry you chose these veterinarians.
August 11 · Judy ShipmanMy pup Wolf was bleeding out of his nose for 3 days as I took him from vet to vet looking for the correct diagnosis.AAA Animal Hospital and Fairview Animal Hospital as well as VCA Emergency care all told me he most likely had a cancerous mass up his nose and that he would need to be put under for a full rhinoscopy just to diagnose him. This was going to cost me anywhere between $6-$10k. On the 3rd day, I walked up to my baby and could tell he was dying. He would be dead within minutes. Thankfully I had applied for some grants from dog rescuses and foundations. Just as I was holding Wolf's head in my lap and preparing myself to say goodbye the OCSPCA called and told me they would help pay Wolf's vet bill but they wanted me to go to their recommended vet that works with them on pricing for in crisis animals. I scooped Wolf up put him in my car and raced to Huntington Pet Vet to see Dr. Nito. Dr. Nito asked a few questions after looking Wolf over, finally she asked if he had ever been out of the country, particularly to Mexico. I informed her he was adopted from Mexico and she smiled and told me there is no cancerous mass, simply a tick bite (more specifically a tick indigenous to Mexico) that had bitten him and was causing his symptoms. She did not mince words, yes he was dying from lack of blood, however she told me that with a significant blood transfusion and some antibiotics he should be fine. I literally dropped to my knees sobbing thanking her for her prognosis. A few days later, after the blood transfusion, I came back to Huntington Pet Vet to pick up Wolf, and he looked like his old self again. She had already started him on the antibiotics intravenously and he was just like my happy healthy boy again. I have Dr.Nito and the competent staff at Huntington Pet Vet to thank for Wolf's life. I will never take him anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Nito and Huntington Pet Vet!!
May 27 · Kimberly Christine ToddDr. Naido has helped us with all our pets and is very gentle and thorough. She's helped us keep our senior cat as healthy and comfortable as possible until the end. We have a dachshund mix now named Hank and although he's apprehensive at first he's always happy to see the staff. Our poor guy gets really itchy and the Dr's and staff have been very helpful in tackling this problem and giving him some relief from those itchy nights.
