★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As a veterinarian myself, I can confidently say that this is THE highest quality and personalized Ophthalmology clinic you could hope for.❤️ I will only be referring clients here from now on, and it’s surprisingly only a short ~20 minute drive from the valley (Sherman Oaks).I brought my own anxious dog here for an eyelid tumor surgery, and their ability to handle her in the most compassionate way was second to none while being both professional and knowledgeable.🫶Of course, we would have happily seen either of these amazing doctors, but since Dr. Rick Lanuza had a particular first consult appointment that I needed in the afternoon, I chose him - and from beginning to end he was an absolute class act, I’m so blessed to have found him! 🥲I never doubted he wouldn’t have excellent clinical and surgical skills as a Board-Certified vet, but he wasn’t at all phased by my reactive dog and he has such a gentle and warm (yet cool!) way about him - Dr Lanuza and everyone on staff were so accommodating and kind.Despite being a vet, as a neurotic pet mom who worries about her 12 year old soulmate girly undergoing surgery, they couldn’t have been more caring! I’ve dealt with other ophthalmology clinics around LA, some of which seem to have turned somewhat corporate and much less service-oriented (the irony of that!), whereas you can tell immediately upon entering this beautiful facility that they truly have your pet’s care as the highest priority.💕(Dr. Marchione who owns the clinic even graciously came over to introduce himself, and I’ve only heard the highest of praise from fellow colleagues for him!)Thank you so much again to Oscar (main vet tech for Jewel’s surgery!), Desiree, and Christian who were all super lovely and professional throughout the entire process.⭐️ You can tell they are very proficient at working in this specialty!🙏 I’m sorry to be missing a tech/receptionist whose name I didn’t get - she was similarly a sweetheart.☺️ Hope I didn’t miss anyone else!Jewel says “Thank you so much everyone for being so nice!😇💗”
August 20 · Dr. Sy WoonI had the best experience at Ocuvet! From the scheduling to the moment I walked in, Dr. Machione and his staff that I met (Ongie & Vilma) were all truly amazing. My dog Douglas was treated with such care and I did not feel rushed. After my dogs last pet opthomologist retired, I went to a different optho who said my dog needed a major surgery on his eyelid. I called my vet, and they referred me over to Dr. Marchione, who reassured me my dog wouldn't need this major surgery! He gave a few different less invasive options, and I was very thankful for his expertise and diagnosis. Highly recommend!
May 14 · Tiffany ZamanWonderful surgeon! Dr. Marchione fixed my dog's lower eyelid entropion and my dog is so much happier. He's no longer squinting and blinking and eyes watering and there was no scarring or anything. All the techs and front desk staff were friendly and everyone took plenty of time to explain the options, surgery, and after care.
July 11 · Hilah JohnsonReally great business and doctor! The clean, modern office space put our pup (and me) at ease, and the entire office and medical staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Marchione is very thorough but relaxed, and he took all the time needed to get the medical history and background information and properly evaluate and treat our dog. Highly recommend!
August 15 · Ben AyanoeleOcuvet is AMAZING! I took my dog to see Dr. Marchione who was very thorough. My pet has had a bump below her eye for some time now. I thought it needed surgical removal and possibly risk losing her eye. Dr Marchione put all my concerns at ease and recommended a less invasive removal. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. His amazing staff made sure to get us seen right away. We are very thankful and are regular clients now.
