★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Cannon is the nicest, most thorough and caring vet in my 61 years on the planet and more than 50 of those with cats! Although the bill seemed a bit high, that is on the owner. Diane at the front desk was also great! I would NEVER go anywhere else! Ask for Dr Cannon too! My 18 year old cat "Monkey" agrees!!! 5 STARS!!!
June 24 · Sanford REI or Sanford Real Estate & InvestmentI've taken two dogs now to Orange Vet Hospital. My current dog is high anxiety and hates 95% of other humans. The staff is compassionate and makes the visits not stressful. The clinic is also incredibly clean. I've recommended them a few times to friends.
May 26 · Michelle PiombinoMy experience with Orange vet has been great. I had a previous puppy named Surry and they were so attentive to him when he passed. I informed them and I got cards from them sending their condolences and now that I have king as my puppy they continue to be very observant to his Health and are so welcoming
August 12 · Eriberto SantosI sincerely hope that the staff at the front desk, who were dismissive and disrespectful, reflect on their behavior. Their attitude was especially upsetting given that my dog was in distress and in need of compassion and assistance. If they are so comfortable acting in such a manner in a veterinary setting, I can only imagine how they might behave in a healthcare or service environment directed towards people. Such conduct is concerning, as it highlights issues of bias and the critical importance of respectful, empathetic care—particularly for people of color who often face disparities within the healthcare system. Our experience with this office was disappointing and far below the high rating of 4.7. The front desk staff, especially a woman with red hair, was extremely rude and dismissive. She seemed entitled and was comfortable being rude to my partner during a highly anxious and overwhelming situation, as we were deeply worried about our pet’s health. The following day, as advised by the veterinarian, I called your office, and another staff member was also dismissive and unprofessional when I inquired about the status of the x-ray machine. She scoffed and questioned why I didn’t take my dog elsewhere, responding dismissively to my concerns. When I explained that someone else had been rude to my partner the day before, she identified the responsible staff member as the red-haired employee. That night, my dog had been vomiting continuously into the early morning, prompting me to contact Shelton Animal Hospital, who advised me to bring him to his veterinarian. The next day, I called your clinic, but was never informed that the x-ray machine was out of service, despite informing them of my pet’s serious symptoms and the potential ingestion of pesticides or a swallowed bone.My partner brought the dog in on April 24th. We were extremely anxious and frightened, yet we were met with a rude attitude and a lack of sympathy. The staff seemed to rush us through and did not provide the thorough examination or diagnostics we expected, despite paying over $490. No x-ray was performed, neither were the necessary tests conducted to assess potential issues with his pancreas or other organs.Furthermore, I requested a follow up call, but we have yet to receive any follow-up.I am also concerned that the attitude and behavior of the staff may have been influenced by racial bias, as we are Black. While I cannot be certain, I felt that our race may have played a role in the dismissive and unprofessional treatment we received.Due to the inadequate care and poor treatment, we were forced to seek assistance from another veterinary clinic, incurring nearly $800 for the necessary diagnostics and care. Fortunately, that clinic was able to provide the urgent treatment needed. However, the attitude and lack of compassion displayed by your staff during our time of distress were unacceptable.
May 06 · Genie SonThe doctors and their assistants are amazing with my dogs. They know how to handle them in a way that relieve their stress and anxiety. I don’t live close by and there are plenty of vets in my area but I choose to make the commute bc everyone there are so welcoming and very professional. I’ve never had a bad experience.
