★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Took my 17-year-old cat, who wasn't eating and had lost a lot of weight, here for a second opinion and to see if the rates would be cheaper for a dental surgery that my original, closer vet recommended. Well, Powder Mill said they would NEVER suggest dental surgery. They did an abdominal ultrasound, found inflammation consistent with either kitty Crohn's or cancer, and prescribed him steroids. In the 5 months since then, he has gained back 3lb (he's a big boy), has so much more energy, and his coat is gleaming. I am certain that switching vets to Powder Mill saved my cat's life and will be forever grateful.(Before and after)Update: Mojo is still doing very well in late July, very healthy, and we continue to adjust his steroid dose up and down after consultation with Powder Mill vets. :)
July 29 · SydneyI have had 4 pets cared for at Powder Mill AH. I really love how well they listen to me, and the kindness and soft-touch that they demonstrate with my cats and dog. I liked the interactions so much that I am deciding to switch to them as my primary care place for my pets. The prices so far are very reasonable. The location is nice as there is a boarding facility in the same building. Also, this place currently has an international pet travel certified vet so you can get all your travel paperwork stuff done here. I really like this place.
July 18 · DRBK314Dr Field is the best vet we've ever been to in our 17 year history of owning pets. We've been to 5 different vets for our 2 cats and a dog and Dr Field stands out from all of them. She is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and will explain everything without making you feel awkward. She is a brilliant vet who really cares for the animals in her care, can't recommend her enough.
August 13 · Anna YeganovWe’ve been going here for about 4 years for our dog and cat. They’re always amazing, especially with our dog - who hates getting his nails done. They’re so good at calming him down. We also had a scare in December where I felt something wasn’t right and they were able to get us in that day. Turned out our dog had an obstruction and needed emergency surgery, so they were able to direct us to the emergency vet and he had his surgery and had been doing amazing since.Recommend them to anyone in the area.
June 23 · Danielle HarnWhen we moved from the city it was an adjustment. Our family veterinarian became as trusted as much as our own doctors. So, we were apprehensive to change veterinarian but the drive was just too far. Now, Honestly I would recommend Powder Mill over our old veterinarian of 18 years. The entire staff is amazing. They are attentive, compassionate and I always feel they empathized when things got tough with our older dog. They take care when helping. I've never felt more comfortable entrusting someone with the safety of our beloved animals. Thank you everyone!
