VCA Airport Irvine Animal Hospital Introduce
For decades, VCA Airport Irvine Animal Hospital has been a pillar of comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care for the Orange County community, conveniently located in Costa Mesa, California. Established with a profound commitment to helping pets live long, happy, and healthy lives, this Animal Hospital integrates Primary Care, Advanced Care, and Urgent Care services under one roof. They are much more than a standard Veterinarian clinic, offering specialized medical treatments, Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and even Alternative Medicine such as Chinese Herbal Medicine and Holistic Medicine.
The hospital's philosophy centers on a holistic approach to pet health, emphasizing Preventive Care from the earliest stages with New Kitten and New Puppy Packages, through to specialized Geriatric Medicine for older companions. As one long-time client noted, Dr. William Radovich and his team have been "amazing" for over 37 years, successfully treating everything from routine skin conditions and broken legs to standard health maintenance visits, and even saving the lives of three of their dogs. Another testimonial highlights the dedication and expertise of the team, crediting the clinic with finally finding the cause of a dog's severe illness and saving her life after two other clinics failed to provide a diagnosis—praising the professional, compassionate care at a reasonable price.
A key distinguishing feature is the breadth of services, which extends beyond medical treatment to include essential Pet Boarding Service options and a Dog Day Care Center. This comprehensive offering makes VCA Airport Irvine Animal Hospital a true one-stop destination for pet owners seeking convenience without compromising on quality of care. Their commitment to inclusive and welcoming service is also noteworthy, promoting a supportive environment for everyone, as they are openly LGBTQ+ friendly and considered a Transgender safespace.
The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment, including Diagnostic Imaging tools like Ultrasound and Radiology, an In-House Laboratory for quick results, and an In-Office Surgical Suite for both Routine Surgeries (like Spays and Neuters) and complex procedures. This allows the dedicated veterinary team to deliver full Diagnostics, rapid Emergency Care, and comprehensive Treatment Treatment planning.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Looks like Google purged a lot of reviews so I’m giving another 5-star review. Dr. Radovich and his team have been amazing for me and all of my pets for the past 37 years. I was 18 years old when I came to Airport Irvine. Dr. R has saved 3 of my dogs from dying and has treated multiple pets from skin conditions, a broken leg to standard health maintenance visits. Highly recommend them!
February 28 · TheresaThis is the only veterinary clinic that truly helped us find the cause of our dog’s illness and saved her life. Before coming here, we went to two other clinics where we were charged extremely high fees, yet they gave us no diagnosis, no real solutions—just excuses while taking more and more money. Here, the experience was completely different. The team was professional, compassionate, and genuinely cared about helping our dog. They charged us a very reasonable price, yet the level of care and service was outstanding. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, our dog has fully recovered and is now happy and healthy again. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, professionalism, and for giving our beloved pet a second chance at life.
August 26 · Ekaterina PitulaKristen B, is the best. Takes care of all my kitties needs. Super friendly staff. More importantly ask for Kristen. This place is not noisy like those cheap places that get your ears ringing and your cats infested with fleas. Well worth the visit. No time wasted. Thanks Kristen and staff for making my life and my kitties life's easier and more peaceful.
November 13 · Gui EwwyWe had adopted a 2-month old puppy 3 days ago from an unethical, grossly negligent shelter who spayed her way too young, didn't advise us of the diarrhea or health issues she faced, and failed to discover her heart murmur. We noticed her intense heart rate after little effort from playing and consistent, shallow, fast breathing in her sleep. We were told she was healthy by the shelter (and that she just had normal debris in her ears), so we had taken her to the VCA for the metallic-smelling, unabating diarrhea concerns. Two veterinarians told us her heart murmur was at a grade 4 or 5 after listening with a stethoscope and told us she had months to maybe a year to live. They were rightfully appalled by how young she was spayed, so they checked her for hip dysplasia as well. We were heartbroken at our options, which were to get a referral for a cardiologist for a specific prognosis and likely necessary surgery for more than $10k or to return her to the shelter. They were patient and understanding in allowing us the space to process our feelings and make our decision. Knowing how much we loved this puppy and were wronged by the shelter, the VCA was absolutely accommodating. They waived our fees without us asking, and that kind act of compassion during our difficult time of healing from our loss made this process just a little less devastating. When our hearts have healed enough to love another animal, we will take any pet concerns to this VCA.
May 09 · ンシャリーSuper friendly, great with the animals. Lots of awesome suggestions for pet care. Nice discussion on benefits of pet insurance and the VCA Care Club. Prices were very affordable.
