★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Zero Stars If I CouldThe front staff were kind, but the veterinarian showed no real care for my dog — only for making money. I brought in my 2-year-old Yorkie who had been vomiting yellow liquid all night. Instead of giving her a thorough exam (eyes, ears, teeth — the basics you expect when paying for an exam), he barely touched her and immediately pushed for an x-ray, even after I explained she hadn’t ingested anything. He said things like, “If this doesn’t work, you’ll just have to come back tomorrow,” which felt like he was setting me up for repeat visits. He refused to give her medication, and only gave a shot that left a painful lump on her shoulder. When I asked about it, I was told it was “just fluids” and would go down in a few hours — but it was heartbreaking to watch my dog suffer while nothing meaningful was done. The day before, I had taken my male dog to an emergency vet for a much worse condition, and that vet ran blood work and gave real treatment right away. The difference in professionalism and compassion was night and day.I will never return to Walnut Valley Animal Hospital. In my opinion, this veterinarian does not care about pets — only about charging for unnecessary procedures. Pet parents, please be very cautious before bringing your animals here.
August 30 · Luice YangThey had spayed our dog in 2023 via the shelter (Ozzie and friends) we got our monster. I just liked them and 2 years later decided to go back despite a good relationship with a great vet we had used for 7-8 years.
July 01 · Matt StoutThis is their new location. Plenty of parking, well put together and clean. As usual, veterinary care is super expensive and this business is right in line with high costs. Had to put our fur baby down, he was senior, diabetic, blind, not eating, couldn't walk, and incontinence. He was suffering 😢 was charged over $560. Yikes!
August 25 · Sandra SwansonIt's a new location, and conveniently located in West Covina, right at the border of Walnut. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The doctor who took care of our Moca is also nice. So far, we come here for vaccines and checkups!
August 31 · Kim ThachDiagnosed my dog with pyometra and had to have emergency surgery. My dog had been sick for some time and I thought she was just being lazy. After surgery, within 3 days she was back with high spirit. Just went back for staple removal and was given clean bill of health. I told the staff it was because of them I still have my dog today. Thanks Walnut Valley Animal Hospital for your help with St3izy!
