★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been bringing my dog to Family Animal Hospital for the past five years, and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. J and the entire team! My dog used to be terrified of going to the vet, but ever since we made the switch, she’s been doing so much better. Dr. J is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and approachable—it’s clear she truly cares about every pet she sees. The staff is always welcoming and efficient, and they do their best to get us in and out quickly, which I really appreciate. I trust them completely with my pup’s care and feel so lucky to have found this place!
April 21 · Brianna RiceMy experience with this animal hospital is awful. I was there 3 times with my dog to treat his allergies and instead of going to the root of the problem, they just keep my dog for couple of hours before inspection and then give him injection to soothe his pain which repeats again in couple of months. Every time receptionist is calling me, she does not even look at the history of my dog and asks same questions over and over again. I cannot speak to the doctor and cannot make appointment for specific time. All I can is to go over the estimate with receptionist, who cannot answer my questions regarding my dog’s condition. And once I drop my dog as they wish, they call me to complain about my dog being noisy when waiting for doctor’s inspection for hours and ask me to let them give my dog sedatives to calm him down. Ashley, manager of the hospital, called me today, she told me I have to find another hospital to treat my dog because I am very impatient with their poor work flow and lack of proper explanation rather than just going over the estimate. I would not recommend anyone to use this place for your dog allergy treatment because,in my personal opinion, these guys do not have decent knowledge to do so. Also wanted to point absence of Ashleys’s manager’s skills, who simply wanted me, stressed out client, out instead of finding solution and giving proper treatment to my dog.
August 22 · Eugene KobakThe Dr is Great! and the staff is very understanding with my situation they help me with my Cat and im very grateful! 🥹
September 04 · Barbara GallegosReally weird experience trying to make an in room visit appointment. They prefer drop offs.A $50 deposit to hold the appointment is required- not a big deal and was happy to pay it until they said to reschedule or cancel they require 1 WEEKS notice or the deposit would be non refundable. So pretty much I would book the appointment today and if I needed to reschedule after tomorrow (1 week from the appointment) I would lose my deposit....?That's a first. And a really strange business practice. I fully intend to get my pet to her vet check, but requiring a full weeks notice to reschedule an office visit shouldn't put their office in such a difficult position they'd have to retain $50 for their trouble. One weeks notice is a first for sure! 🤣 And a huge red flag. They REALLY don't want to book in person appointments. They want you to dump your pet off so they don't have to deal with people I guess? I don't like most people either I'll be honest. But cmon.
January 08 · Melissa Damron FolkertsI will be forever grateful to Dr. Lori Jaramillo for her guidance and support during a time of stress for me and my pet, Belle Belle.Belle Belle was going blind when placed under my foster care at age 18 with many emergent and chronic health issues including dry eye resulting in corneal ulceration, a cracked nose due to serious respiratory disease, dental abscess that hampered her ability to eat causing malnutrition, etc. Dr. Jaramillo and her associate devised and oversaw a get-well plan for Belle Belle that got her healthy and happy again until she developed oral cancer. I relied on Dr. Jaramillo to provide advice on how to proceed at this difficult time and she made all the right decisions that gave Belle Belle another 7 months of superior comfort and care which was amazing considering her age and health issues. When we made the decision to put down Belle Belle, I was at peace knowing we did the best for her and had no regrets. I still have 3 pets under Dr. Jaramillo's care and am relieved and comforted with the thought that with her guidance, I could allow my dogs to live out their life until it's their turn to go to heaven without needless suffering.
