★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My Cavalier, Koda, has a chronic heart condition. We had been seeing a different cardiologist up until December. At our last visit there, I was told Koda could go into congestive heart failure within four months. That conversation felt impersonal and cold, and I left feeling like I needed a second opinion. That’s when Dr. Goodwin was recommended to me, and I am incredibly grateful he was. Since switching to his care, Koda’s condition has radically improved. His overall health and energy have changed significantly for the better, and I owe that entirely to Dr. Goodwin. The changes he made to Koda’s medication, food, and supplements have made a huge difference!Dr. Goodwin is not only highly skilled but also warm and seems to genuinely care about my shweet guy. Trish, the receptionist, is phenomenal…. kind, attentive, and always helpful. The entire experience has been a complete contrast to where we were before.I will never see another cardiologist. Dr. Goodwin has earned my trust for life, and I will sing his praises to anyone who will listen!
July 26 · Jessica LemmoUnfortunately I arrived here with my dog because of a dog wound. I’ve waited a total of 2.5 hours for my dog to be seen. All the staff were amazing except for Jess (vet tech). She asked me to “calm down” before I can say anything. Never made a seen or anything. She then said “you can leave if you want after I told her not to tell me to calm down” She needs to go back to interpersonal training 101. This was all related to me expressing that my dog wound is on the neck. And that the pamphlet says otherwise. So just confused to why she acted this way. I hope she gets talked to with this Horrible first experience. Thankful for the rest of the staff that made it pleasant, especially the person who came to the waiting room petting all the dogs and showing them love while they wait.
August 24 · Kevin DeSousaWhat a wonderful place. We had to put our dog down and they were so professional and caring during this heartbreaking process. They were compassionate to us and our dog. They gave us an option to have it done outside where it was such a peaceful and perfect place for us and our dog. Thank you so much for making a heartbreaking situation the best you could for us. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone they are great.
July 13 · Richard TurcotteI had to take my dog Oscar to VCA's emergency services recently. As expected with emergency visits, the wait was quite long — we were there for about 5 hours, and while we did leave with somewhat conclusive results, it was a long day with multiple tests. The staff was friendly and professional, and I truly appreciate all the hard work the doctors and nurses do to care for our furry family members. My only concern was the communication around test results — I was told it would be a short wait, but it ended up taking over an hour. A bit more transparency around wait times would have helped manage expectations. That said, I’m grateful for the care Oscar received and the dedication of the team during a stressful time.
June 08 · George KorahLast night we had to bring our cat in and we had the best experience with Brittany. After sitting there for over two hours waiting to be seen Brittany was extremely helpful and kind. She took our cat in the back to check her vitals again, gave us an update and then put us in a room just so Luna (our cat) could come out of her carrier and we could assess her better. Brittany brought us a litter box, food (2 kinds) and water, along with a blanket for Luna. She gave us confidence that it looked like Luna was on the mend and was safe to go home. Her patience and kindness won't be forgotten. Thank you so much Brittany!
